Good morning FaithfulOne-
Loyalty. Lets consider loyalty. Because sometimes, the loyal straps holding the furniture on the trailer break. And driving down the road, your best chair smashes the ground and splinters into a jillion pieces. You trusted the straps. Your chair is now destroyed.
Humans like to place blame – “if I had tied it, this wouldn’t have happened. You messed this up – your fault.”
Nothing could be further from the truth, DearOne. Time passes. Straps get worn and break. So it is with humans, too. Even when disaster comes, mistakes are made, heated words dive deep, and the irreplaceable is replaced with pain, an opportunity is created.
In our community of spirits we connect and
reconnect,
reload,
re-glue,
repair because of damage. And, the man of war that was raging last season, will be seen as a friend – because the war is over and life goes on.
Its the right thing to do.
Ask the thief, that hung next to Jesus. Ask the father of the prodigal. Ask the woman at the well. Ask King David. Ask Jonah. Ask … me … and you. Tell me about broken loyalty as compared with the loyalty of a Father that takes you back with arms wide open, Sweetheart.
Wake up.
Forgive.
Renew loyalties.
Go to bed.
