‘Come to terms with God and be at peace; in this way good will come to you.’ Job 22:21
Today, unearth the good in the ugly,
the peace in your struggle,
and all that makes you grateful not hateful.
‘Watch out, brothers, so that there won’t be, in any of you, an evil, unbelieving heart that departs from the living God. But encourage each other daily, while it is still called today, so that none of you is hardened by sin’s deception.’ Hebrews 3:12, 13
This is a simple message. But it is anointing.
Cover your mind, mood, and emotions so thickly with the Holy Spirit that bitter words, and hate-filled voices, and aggressive body language slides right past you.
Be slick. No matter who they are, or what kind of negative hatred they try to claim on you. Be slick.
They own their issues. Not you. You have your own stuff to work out. God is dealing with their bitterness on a level not meant for you or me to understand.
Be obedient and gentle with God’s child. But, do not, DO NOT, be slammed down by the enemy’s psychotic attempt to destroy your peace. Especially, when that attempt comes through one who’s heart may be troubled.
That is not for you or me to judge.
You are in the shelter of GOD ALMIGHTY. Sweetheart, you don’t have to react back to them with the same bitterness they deliver to you.
Their ‘coping with life’ problems do not belong to you.
Their hate is not your hate to own.
Be slick. Fire the stabs they deliver as far as the east is from the west. And, pray for them to take their ownership of peace with the Creator.
‘Make Your ways known to me, Lord; teach me Your paths. Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; I wait for You all day long.’ Psalms 25:4, 5
Sometimes, looking around, I see mostly broken-hearted people. They live in self-appointed prisons of hostile anger. They spew their victim-mad posture and spill over their built up years of a pained mind, wandering in and out of their heartbroken days. Locked up in their hate, they hurt.
Locked deeply in their darkness, there is yet a secret, wide-open skyway which holds their soul’s attitude which can fly anywhere, fully alive, it can never be caged, except by their own choices.
The culture may lie to us about many things, but there is a truth they can’t touch. God’s ways are right.
Freedom comes to those who accept Him. Wings are given to those who say “yes, Father. Teach me. Show me. Guide me.”
You are being called, Sweetheart:
‘Then David said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don’t be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He won’t leave you or forsake you.’ 1 Chronicles 28:20
Good morning StrongOne.
Listen. Do you hear the calm voice in your panicked heart? Overwhelmed, and confused, and scared, and pulled into the breath of a windstorm – can you hear the Voice of Holy Thunder in the distance?
The job seems agonizing and the work too huge for someone like you.
You do not know why, but you are back again, at that place that calls for your help, your hands, your feet, your heart — for the rest of your life.
Your bones whisper with His Spirit.
You know how He moves.
You and I know, we try to take our spiritual understandings with both: a dose of serious and a dose of good humor – that He would assign someone like you or me to such a task. Ha. That He would gift us in such a way as to do the work. Really?
“See that you don’t look down on one of these little ones, because I tell you that in heaven their angels continually view the face of My Father in heaven.” Matthew 18:10
Good morning Chosen One,
Get this: you have a posse of angels assigned to you. You are one of the children this verse addresses, yes, you!
Read it again and know that your angels are looking over you while receiving their instruction about you from the very face of God Almighty.
The war is over your soul.
Father God reigns where His Spirit is, where His angels are, where He is given rule.
Oh, and DearOne: there is so much more going on in the heavenlies all around ‘the world of you’ than your mind can imagine. Your spiritual world is connected to your physical world.
When you get bent out of shape, you might think some human being is your problem. But, all problems originate from satan. That person is not your enemy – your enemy is satan. Demon spirits influence toxic thinking. The fight is in the spiritual realm.
And, if you don’t use angels and you fail to call upon them to help you, then you are stepping into battle in a weakened and wounded state. Call upon all your spiritual resources and allow the fullness of the dominion of God Almighty to come into your soul. Give His kingdom full authority in you.
Ask for it.
‘In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the temple.’ Isaiah 6:1
Then he saw God.
Go there with Isaiah.
Stand in his place.
Let the presence of the Holy enter into this place and see Him fill to the corners His GLORY.
Feel Him wash over you.
Let His presence invade you – Isaiah breathed in God Almighty in that place, and he had an a-ha moment.
You see, dear one, Isaiah wrestled with feeling unclean. His history of mistakes and everyday human battles blocked his way to thinking he could ever offer anything of value, anything of eternity, to his people.
Choosing God’s call meant all or nothing. It meant the timing of forever begins now. Today. In spite of his life being layered with needs and desires and priorities, in spite of the voices of doubt, and he didn’t have time or money or energy, but, the more he experience GLORY … the more clearly he saw God Most High … the more he knew the only thing of lasting value was to choose the invitation offered by pure, unfiltered love.
He had to go, “Here am I! Send me.”
What is holding you back from the life you were born for?
What is holding you back from experiencing God?
Lay it down.
‘Fight the good fight for the faith; take hold of eternal life that you were called to.’ 1 Timothy 6:12
Our purpose in life: prepare for eternity.
Peace, an ultimate, heightened state of calm, so smooth – and colors, and shapes, and newness, that our human minds didn’t even know existed: that’s what waits for us.
You and I have been called to eternity. I wonder if it will be like being reborn? Like a newborn baby coming into the light, and colors, and temperature, and faces of our loved ones from the dark, liquid, heat of our mother’s womb.
Then, when our eyes adjust, and we see Him. Oh.
Morning! Time to plan your day. Start here SweetOne:
Slowly, take a deep breath.
Call on your Creator.
Call On Him.
Wake your heart’s agreement before you go one more step. Make this morning’s call as a sacred ritual … an ancient sunrise ceremony … the Father and His child … together as one soul unit. Start the day, yes – call Him in. Call your heart in.
The heart’s key turns in the lock automatically with your call, as it is the deepest desire of every heart to be united with Love. The yearnings of your heart now grow silent, the Holy fills every space as your heart’s doors fly open and His holiness fills you. Ah. Yes, Lord. Enter in.
Be filled by Love.
‘If I speak human or angelic languages but do not have love, I am a sounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
If I have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so that I can move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing. And if I donate all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body in order to boast but do not have love, I gain nothing….
Now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3, 13
Good morning ForgivenOne.
You know, I can screw things up more than anyone I know. My words get tangled, important stuff pushed to the side – my haphazard, fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants ways can send my clean-up-crew-chief (aka husband) over the edge more times in a day than I can count.
And, I question Father God’s ways constantly. Especially, when people I love are hurting and getting knocked around.
With every falling decent, through each transformation, the Creator is my stabilizer. He carves His initials in a custom-made story line for each of His followers whose hearts put special time and special space in their hours for Him.
No matter the degree of pain,
The God of the Universe rewards each soul’s wild journey whose eyes seek Him as He creates each wild passage.
He is the Holy Fire, DearOne … anything you do that is fueled by Him will nourish many and provide a road-map to our eternal home.
Those who choose to miss His fire, those who throw water on Him, ignore the Flame, snuff it out lose out on
yearnings and longings created especially for them alone –
and without fire, they remain uncooked and everyone in their realm remains unfulfilled because they have neglected the Holy Fire.
Your obedience is not just all about you sweetheart.
My obedience is not just all about me.
The Fire of The Holy is worth tending.
He is worth watching.
When it all comes to an end, there is hell to pay for those who let the fire go out.
‘Therefore let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us at the proper time.’ Hebrews 4:16
Good morning FaithfulOne-
Loyalty. Lets consider loyalty. Because sometimes, the loyal straps holding the furniture on the trailer break. And driving down the road, your best chair smashes the ground and splinters into a jillion pieces. You trusted the straps. Your chair is now destroyed.
Humans like to place blame – “if I had tied it, this wouldn’t have happened. You messed this up – your fault.”
Nothing could be further from the truth, DearOne. Time passes. Straps get worn and break. So it is with humans, too. Even when disaster comes, mistakes are made, heated words dive deep, and the irreplaceable is replaced with pain, an opportunity is created.
In our community of spirits we connect and
repair because of damage. And, the man of war that was raging last season, will be seen as a friend – because the war is over and life goes on.
Its the right thing to do.
Ask the thief, that hung next to Jesus. Ask the father of the prodigal. Ask the woman at the well. Ask King David. Ask Jonah. Ask … me … and you. Tell me about broken loyalty as compared with the loyalty of a Father that takes you back with arms wide open, Sweetheart.
Go to bed.
‘“It is I who sweep away your transgressions for My own sake and remember your sins no more.”‘ Isaiah 43:25
