Nearly time to hit the beat of the new week. 

All brand-new … every waiting challenge is ready to unfold in new opportunities – in new situations. 

New is usually uncomfortable. 

Set your heart, Beloved, before you set out. Right now – this moment you are still standing. You are still breathing. 

Open your heart in this quietness. Listen to your Father speaking in silent sentences of light. 

Light – Love’s mysterious language translated into words of encouragement and absolute confidence in your ability to triumph over all adversaries. That’s His way. 

You are in this place as your Divine calling. Even if, and even when it seems to counter your dreams. 

DearOne, as a child of The Most High, we’ve already won. We are just walking it out. You are a soldier of the Supreme Authority. 

He is the General. 

Chief Strategist. 

Captain. 

Admiral. 

You can trust Him here. 

There are demonic forces that are against us. Every time you find you are in a new place, a new level. You will get opposition. 

Goofy, outlandish attacks happen when you follow hard in Christ. 

Off the wall. 

Stand against opposition and do what you know you hear the Spirit speaking. 

Ask the Almighty what you can do for Him today? 

Learn to have patience in the trials as you walk it out. In this bare moment, feel the power of satisfaction from the know He makes all things new. 
“This is what GOD says, the God who builds a road right through the ocean, who carves a path through pounding waves … Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands. Good morning, Beloved,

Every detail of God-living … 

working into good …

I love looking back and seeing Divine irony. 

How, by His grace, His mercy, His ways, my attitude gets reconfigured from severe judgements and criticisms … to compassion. 

We are all wounded, aren’t we? We go through elephant graveyards that get soul-wrenched with “why?” places. 

“Where did that even come from?” places. 

And, from there we look on with full-faced curiosity – to where our judgements have become so entrenched. 

Those places take us in. 

We process there. As we process, our Creator makes Himself known. He reveals more of His ways in us. Authority. 

In the no-man’s land. 

We are never quite the same after that. 

You look at everyone differently. 

It is from the “why” places that you ask the Divine in … and, He reveals what is true, 

He reveals light and darkness, 

right and wrong. 

He whittles on us until He reveals a place that resonates within with the Holy of Holies.

And, we are brought full circle, into a new place of His old presence. He uses the ancient of His Word, especially the most familiar promises, and reveals a certain new truth. 

People don’t validate the truth of His presence in me … of His authority in me … of His light in me.

That is His work alone. 

Period. Word. Full stop.

Am I interested in what His anointed ones speak into me and over me? Absolutely.

Will I consider the impact and intention of their words? You bet.

External input comes into us for a reason.

When it all boils down, though, the still, small Voice … 

the still, small Voice. 

The Holy residing within every detail – yes … hold us captive to Your process in us, Lord. 
Wake up.

Good morning, Child of Grace. 

Days that seem ordinary and mundane are necessary. They are prep days for the big that is coming. 

Practice. 

Yes, that’s it. 

The ordinary ones are simple gifts from your Creator. 

They are practice. 

Because the day will come, as they inevitably do … whether you are an all-in, whole-hearted lover of Christ or living out your hours in denial of grace, the day will come ….

that you will be struck down to your knees or ground down by life. It can come in slow and steady slits to your heart six or seven times per day, just walking through the hallways of your thoughts. 

Or, it may arrive in the name of bombshell calamity that happen in one solid blow. 

And, you will hide down into the escrow of reserves your heart has stored. The God of Grace will give you chords to call on your people, the seen and the unseen to shore you up to meet the day. 

And, the grace reserves of the ordinary days oil you into the presence of the Holy. 

Wake up. 
Embrace grace slow and steady. 

Go.

You know, DearHeart, it’s funny – the things you remember from childhood. When I was in 5th grade a classmate lost his mom to cancer. He said, “every day we live, we are one day closer to death.” I remember the place we were sitting, on the upper bleachers (purple and gold) of the Oklahoma Street gym, his tone of voice, deep and sure wisdom. 

Each day, is one day closer to eternity. What changes are happening with you? What are you doing to make this day count? 

It is ongoing, this time-thing. 

We never stop changing and transforming while in this human skin. The Holy Spirit never stops the call to shine brighter through us. 

Today, hear the summons: you are being challenged to grow and change, to break down so there can be a break through. 

Set your Holy intention for the day. Begin this daily practice now. 

When you choose to set your intention, whether you are midstream of a cataclysmic life-event, or just steering through life’s daily rapids, you uncover splendid treasures. 

You and I are dealing with this terminal condition called life. As is every soul you pass by. Set your intention for this day.
