Bullies.
They come in all shapes, sizes, ages.
After an attack you have a choice. You can either let their opinion defeat you, or you can choose to be grateful for the things you know are true. The dark and empty place their words and actions come from don’t define you. You arrive at this turning point, and say to yourself, ‘am I going to let them define me?’ ‘Am I going to allow false accusers to define me?’
No.
I Rise.
I am going to let the Word define me. Every victory, every success, every goal, every prayer, everything that is a result of obedience to His call each day – that is what defines me.
Call me a monster, and I’ll turn it into a prayer ladder to God’s best for my life. I’ve learned to use negativity as my driving-force motivator. The Holy Spirit uses it to light my fire, to keep going.
Use that.
Use that negativity in your life to make yourself better. I guarantee you this: God always wins, and that means you win by choosing to stay in His Spirit. Stay the course.
Ask yourself what defines you.
Grace starts here.
Grace bats last.
“We are pressured in every way but not crushed; we are perplexed but not in despair; we are persecuted but not abandoned; we are struck down but not destroyed. We always carry the death of Jesus in our body, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
For our momentary light affliction is producing for us an absolutely incomparable eternal weight of glory.” 2 Corinthians 4:8-10, 17 HCSB
Wake up.
Bear the weight of GLORY.
Go.
