‘I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.’ Psalm 130:6
Are you an expectation junkie too, SweetSoul?
Know this: Father God has got your back. He knows how intensely your heart burns for your dream. He knows of your sharpening skills, and how much you are willing to partner with Him to create the good stuff in your life.
Today, simply accept the call, wherever you may be in your quest, to show up and shine.
Just arrive, simply ready to give your all.
Trust your God to get you where you’re going, one day at a time.
It’s you and Him together BeautifulOne!
Go make your shine now.
God Most High has got the rest.
‘Therefore, as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, overflowing with gratitude.’ Colossians 2:6, 7
My thankfulness for you overflows, DearOne.
I am in an awe of thanks, for a Spirit of One so Holy,
who planned for my existence,
planned for my eternity,
and the One who continues to push people into my personal space who see in me more than I see, ones who plant seeds of His heart into me, and those who love me enough to make me stretch my security blanket threadbare.
You know who you are.
And, for each of you, my heart thrums a beat of vibrantly echoing thanks.
Because you are a part of my life, I am deeply blessed.
Take time today to reflect on your impact-people. Be filled with appreciation. And, while thanking Father God for his profound gifts and continue to give Him ‘thanks-plugs’ for your peeps.
Love you – make it a fantastic Thanksgiving,
First stop of the day = God’s Holy Word.
He sets the tone.
He sparks the heart.
All praise begins in this mighty and quiet daily union.
My heart beats blessed.
So. very. blessed.
For what blessings does your heart soar today?
You are an original. There are no duplicates. Placed here, in this time, on this earth with gifts, talents, and your own story that are yours and yours alone. If you choose not to being those gifts forward they are lost for all time.
The society we live in teaches cookie-cutter conformity, so finding the parts of ourselves able and willing to stand out can be a stretch. Dearheart, that is exactly what Father God expects of you – to choose His journey to take you on a discovery mission of what is yours and only yours to share.
Say “yes, Almighty One”.
Answer His call.
‘The hidden things belong to the Lord our God, but the revealed things belong to us and our children forever, so that we may follow all the words of this law.’ Deuteronomy 29:29
Brr, DearOne! Hope you are warm.
Oh boy, my closest young loves are worriers. Grr.
People often say, “oh, to be their age again.” And, I can assure you I have no desire to trade places. The unknowns that lurk in their sweet heads seek to trip them, tie them up, and keep them trapped up in the distraction of fear. Mm mmmm. It gets painful there.
The enemy at work schemes in the most sneaky ways.
Do not give in to that.
Father God has you right where He wants you for the purpose of training you to depend on Him totally …. in EVERY area of your days.
SweetOne, in His Word daily, He tells you enough of what you need to know to make your daily moves. He’s got the answers to the hidden parts ready to reveal in the right time and the right place.
You make the effort today to stay tight with Him – and, His safety net is ready to catch your unknowns.
Much love through your minutes, possum. Keep moving with Him.
Ever noticed how the simplest things can bring so much delight?!
Like … Marshmallows.
Finding car keys.
Seeing a friend at the store.
See how many random simple things make your heart smile today. Keep a running total.
Give Father God a shout-out of THANKS for the simple stuff.
‘Hallelujah! Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His faithful love endures forever.’ Psalms 106:1
‘The Lord is the One who will go before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you or forsake you. Do not be afraid or discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8
Good morning, Precious!
Admit it. Sometimes you have more excuses than a bird has feathers. To dive into the call with faith, not knowing how it will turn out in the end, is a paralyzingly thought.
An energy sapper.
A fear worse than death.
The enemy does a number on us through fear, doesn’t he SweetOne?
Very often, we get trapped in hyper-normal routines because we are comfortable there. It creeps up on us until we wake up one day to realize that daily life is … well, … lifeless.
Father God allows realization of the boring and mundane to set in so we will crave His call enough to jump into a place where faith is the only leg we have to stand upon.
What fear is holding you back, Dearheart?
Appetite intact, hunger for gusto.
Hi Beautiful Soul!
‘You will keep the mind that is dependent on You in perfect peace, for it is trusting in You.’ Isaiah 26:3
A meteor lit up the dark sky Saturday. Sitting in the living room we saw it out the window. Green and white brilliance streaked a free-fall straight down, and we gasped and ran to the front porch.
Earthquakes in Oklahoma.
Tornadoes in the north.
The patterns of norm have shifted, DearOne. They continue to shift.
Sweetheart, changes beckon us. This is the time to explore beyond what your flesh thinks it knows. The flesh is weak and operates out of fear. Tap deeper into your Holy Spirit to understand that, no matter how spastic the events, your life is being set in motion to transport you to a place of healing freedom. Shifting norms call you to respond in swift, precise action.
This earthly ride is a just a passing side trip for you and me.
Keep this jaunt in perspective.
Do the inner-soul work.
Explore beyond what you think you know.
Start on your knees.
Good morning, BelovedOne!
Ever feel bored with life?
‘Mankind, He has told you what is good and what it is the Lord requires of you: to act justly, to love faithfulness, and to walk humbly with your God.’ Micah 6:8
Dearheart, everything you and I do, and how we do it, has an impact on someone else.
If you are questioning the ho-hum of your daily routine – it just may be that you don’t need to ask the Holy Spirit to shake you up, but, instead to
into the persistence of obedience.
I’ve always wondered what Jesus daily life was like growing up. His Word skips his childhood years. Same with Moses. Perhaps their lives were too mundane and ordinary during those years to study or write about. But, those were the years they were growing in
Settle down, Sweetheart. Let the “boring” seasons grow you into His image.
