I am in an awe of thanks, for a Spirit of One so Holy,
who planned for my existence,
planned for my eternity,
and the One who continues to push people into my personal space who see in me more than I see, ones who plant seeds of His heart into me, and those who love me enough to make me stretch my security blanket threadbare.
You know who you are.
And, for each of you, my heart thrums a beat of vibrantly echoing thanks.

People often say, “oh, to be their age again.” And, I can assure you I have no desire to trade places. The unknowns that lurk in their sweet heads seek to trip them, tie them up, and keep them trapped up in the distraction of fear. Mm mmmm. It gets painful there.
And, lonely.
The enemy at work schemes in the most sneaky ways.
Do not give in to that.
Father God has you right where He wants you for the purpose of training you to depend on Him totally …. in EVERY area of your days.

Admit it. Sometimes you have more excuses than a bird has feathers. To dive into the call with faith, not knowing how it will turn out in the end, is a paralyzingly thought.
An energy sapper.
A fear worse than death.
The enemy does a number on us through fear, doesn’t he SweetOne?
Very often, we get trapped in hyper-normal routines because we are comfortable there. It creeps up on us until we wake up one day to realize that daily life is … well, … lifeless.
Father God allows realization of the boring and mundane to set in so we will crave His call enough to jump into a place where faith is the only leg we have to stand upon.
What fear is holding you back, Dearheart?
Name it.
Change it.
Appetite intact, hunger for gusto.

A meteor lit up the dark sky Saturday. Sitting in the living room we saw it out the window. Green and white brilliance streaked a free-fall straight down, and we gasped and ran to the front porch.

Earthquakes in Oklahoma.

Sweetheart, changes beckon us. This is the time to explore beyond what your flesh thinks it knows. The flesh is weak and operates out of fear. Tap deeper into your Holy Spirit to understand that, no matter how spastic the events, your life is being set in motion to transport you to a place of healing freedom. Shifting norms call you to respond in swift, precise action.
This earthly ride is a just a passing side trip for you and me.
Keep this jaunt in perspective.

Explore beyond what you think you know.

I’ve always wondered what Jesus daily life was like growing up. His Word skips his childhood years. Same with Moses. Perhaps their lives were too mundane and ordinary during those years to study or write about. But, those were the years they were growing in
stature, and
obedience, and
wisdom.
Settle down, Sweetheart. Let the “boring” seasons grow you into His image.
