Hey, ShiningStar!

I love ‘rise to the occasion’ kind of days! They prove that what you were born for is REAL! Your Maker has assigned a host of beings in the heavenlies to celebrate your arrival to this moment. The choice on where your mind floods your focus matters today – it matters. So … here is what you do:

-rock your world with discipline to stay in the moment,

-from breath to breath brace your calm … brace down into the earth, unmoved, like a boulder, you know your Anchor, He is faithful.

-your fueled passion kicks in one beat at a time. Let the Holy Spirit set your beat-to-beat fighting rhythm. Rise and you will be kept from being swept away by the stupidity of surface emotions. Stay in the rhythm.

It’s days like this, moments full of color you can’t describe – full of lift and strength … that your passion kicks in with a low hum.

Yes, the fire you were born for is real. Your Creator is alive and active in you.

He is your Power Surge. Every breakthrough victory leads to your bliss, leads to bring Him even more GLORY.

Buckle down.

Rise up in His full confidence.

Go.

‘But let him ask in faith without doubting. For the doubter is like the surging sea, driven and tossed by the wind.’ (James 1:6 HCSB

“With your unfailing love you lead the people you have redeemed. In your might, you guide them to your sacred home.” Exodus 15:13 NLT

Good morning, GuidedOne.

How would we ever make it without our Shepherd? To be guided is a choice. It is your choice. You get to set the time and the place. It sounds so simple. But, our lives are overfilled with distractors …

school,

work,

family,

deadlines,

relationships (“its complicated”, or not),

children,

finances,

cars,

grocery store,

cooking,

cleaning,

laundry,

sleeping.

There’s already so much to do and not enough time … where will you squeeze 15 minutes into your day to enter in with your Creator?

Here’s your answer: you decide. You decide if you want His presence … want or need His guidance. Or, let the ‘too busy’ decide for you. And, when He needs to get your attention, He. will. get. your. attention.

And, after you’ve realized what you’ve been missing, you crawl in on your knees and into the lap of the Father who has been waiting there all along.

Wake up.

Decide.

Enter in.

Go.

Good morning, God’s Child.

Drawing near to the Most High requires effort.

Intentional.

A date.

A set time and place where He welcomes us in and spills out more of Him.

Setting a time and place sounds so simple, doesn’t it?

So straightforward.

So matter of fact.

But, it isn’t so easy – our nutty lives are filled – overfilled with work and family and relationships … messy relationships, and children and money and cars and school and shopping and cooking and cleaning and sleeping. There’s already not enough time to squeeze everything in.

Here’s the answer: you decide what’s important and what can wait for 15 minutes. You decide if you want to speak to The God Who Loves You, or not. You get to decide if you want His guidance, His ways in your days, or not.

And, when you rebel long enough He will get your attention, and you will find yourself on your knees. One way or another, you will find that your only choice is to decide to show up in His presence.

His ways are right.

“The people I love, I call to account—prod and correct and guide so that they’ll live at their best. Up on your feet, then! About face! Run after God! “Look at me. I stand at the door. I knock. If you hear me call and open the door, I’ll come right in and sit down to supper with you. Conquerors will sit alongside me at the head table, just as I, having conquered, took the place of honor at the side of my Father. That’s my gift to the conquerors!” Revelation 3:19-21 MSG

Wake up.

Take the place of honor.

Get in His presence.

Go.

April 18, 2018 asking

Standard

“That night the answer to the mystery was given to Daniel in a vision. Daniel blessed the God of heaven, saying, “Blessed be the name of God, forever and ever. He knows all, does all: He changes the seasons and guides history, He raises up kings and also brings them down, he provides both intelligence and discernment, He opens up the depths, tells secrets, sees in the dark—light spills out of him! God of all my ancestors, all thanks! all praise! You made me wise and strong. And now you’ve shown us what we asked for.” Daniel 2:19-23 MSG

Good morning, Child of the Living God.

Miracles happen in the asking. But, asking takes us to a place of humbleness. Asking means we give up control for a time, acknowledging we need direction.

We need help.

We need the surge-power and the stay-power of the Almighty.

We gain strength and power in the ask-process.

When we ask we are seeking.

With time and practice and experience with the Holy Spirit, we learn that when we ask, we are sure to get more than what we are fishing for. We begin so naive-simply entertaining thoughts of love, or job security, or money that lasts and lasts. In truth … we’d like to be fed everything without doing much work. In God’s economy, we learn from history that nothing of value ever develops this way. His ways are right.

When we ask, we not only secure relationship with our Creator, we also enter into God’s timing. He begins the process then and there. As we get to His point of delivery from our petition, all of the “oops, I’m not ready…I need time” questions and fears bubble up. The truth is, we are never really ready for the process that lead us … because getting there – to that thing for which you asked … well, that is a walk of trust. That’s the place you jump, full of faith – because your faith and the delivery of His discernment and intelligence and Light is all you’ve got. And, it is enough.

You asked.

He delivers. Trust Him here.

Wake up.

Jump.

Go.

Job 33:4 ‘The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.’ Job 33:4

Good morning, DearHeart.

Sitting right here in the quiet. Alone with God Most High. Undivided attention. God and me.

No distractions. The rest of the world must wait. Right now, Father God and I are in a fully focused exchange.

Glory.

Thankful.

Resting.

Breathing His authority in over every concern.

Held.

Pouring Him into each of my loves. My Dale, Levi, Holly, Bry, Dani, Luke, Liv … all my people … near and far. And, my people’s people.

Thank You, Jesus.

Glory.

Strength and Power and Spirit of the Holy pouring gently over each one …. into each one …

Releasing the fears.

Releasing the strongholds. Love in its purest form. Unconditional. Fresh. Totally forgiven. Mm mm mm.

Handing over praise.

Giving Him my concerns.

Learning to look at all through a lens of love.

Wake up.

Breathe in the breath of the Holy.

Go.

“He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will carry the lambs in his arms, holding them close to his heart. He will gently lead the mother sheep with their young.” Isaiah 40:11 NLT

“Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalms 91:1 NLT

“I pray to GOD —my life a prayer— and wait for what he’ll say and do. My life’s on the line before God, my Lord, waiting and watching till morning, waiting and watching till morning.” Psalm 130:5-6 MSG

Good morning, ProtectedOne,

Do the winds blowing in alert you of reasons to fear? Do what-ifs spike your anxiety?

As a light-bearer of the Holy, notice the hand of the enemy in your thoughts. There are threats and problems all around. Darkness and negativity that need to be dealt with, but perhaps the powerful question today is this:

“Father, put yourself in my shoes. Now, from my view – in terms I can understand, will you show me how to do life in full confidence with You? Show me my next move?”

I know I’m Yours.

You love me. I know that, too.

Intimacy.

Beyond being polite,

politically correct,

gullible or vulnerable

– just simple,

blatant honesty.

Because, when that shift happens, and you realize He takes on the fullness of your history, your crisis, your adventure, your joys, your questions, then … you slip into a unique romance with your Maker – you take on His history as well. One on one. You and me, God. It’s You and me.

It’s a trust-shift. No more coddling God. He has now become straight-up transparent. And, your ability to hear Him just jumped up a mountain of decibels.

Need an answer?

“So, Father, what would you do from my shoes. Your love and protection surrounds me, and, thanks, God. I saw Your last move there. I see the daylight rising. I love You, too, Father.”

Wake up.

Feel His protection.

Go.

April 11, 2018 slick

Standard

“For as long as it’s still God’s Today, keep each other on your toes so sin doesn’t slow down your reflexes. If we can only keep our grip on the sure thing we started out with, we’re in this with Christ for the long haul.”

Hebrews 3:12-13

A toxic attitude is dangerous territory, DearHeart.

This is a simple message. But it will carry you.

Be slick.

Cover your mind, mood, and emotions so thickly with the Holy Spirit that bitter words,

and hate-filled voices,

and aggressive body language slide right past you.

Be slick.

No matter who they are, or what kind of hatred darts they try to claim on you.

Be slick.

They own their issues. Not you. You have your own stuff to work out. God is dealing with their bitterness on a level not meant for you or me to understand.

Be respectful.

Be obedient and gentle with God’s child.

But, do not, DO NOT, be slammed down by the enemy’s psychotic attempt to destroy your peace. Especially, when that attempt comes through one who’s heart may be troubled.

That is not for you or me to judge.

You are in the shelter of GOD ALMIGHTY. DearOne, you don’t have to react back to them with the same bitterness they deliver to you.

Their ‘coping with life’ problems do not belong to you.

Their hate is not your hate to own. God will deal with them.

God is dealing with you. And, me.

Be slick.

Fire the stabs they deliver as far as the east is from the west. And, pray for them to own their peace with the Creator.

Wake up.

Be slick.

Go.

“But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit.”

2 Corinthians 3:18 ASV

DearOne, good morning.

Change gets a bad rap. It is not comfortable. But, the Holy in us is always, ALWAYS, working for our highest good. How about if you could trust Him a little more today, and doubt a little less . . . of life, of others, of yourself? How about if you allow your Creator room to make you uncomfortable so He can deliver sweet gems of insight that are right there, waiting, just beyond your questions? yes, there they are . . . waiting to be seen? His ways are right. His plans for you are right.

Trust Him in this moment.

Trust His ways.

Wake up.

Allow room.

Go.

“Stretch out your hand with healing power; may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Then they preached the word of God with boldness.”

Acts of the Apostles 4:30-31

Good morning, PrayingOne,

As many mornings as I get up, I have to get right back down on my knees with my Savior … right there is my favorite place. Here is where I find that when prayer begins, I climb in with my God who takes care of business. He loves me and all my messes and questions completely. He sets a safe place where I can trust Him, and know He is still working even though I can’t see it. He sets up my boundaries – He fights and says “Satan, you’re a liar”.

This prayer place loosens my mind and allows His insight to set in. Give Him your time, and you gain the holiness of His POWER.

It will hold your life together; He is reliable-solid-stable.

It will hold your career together when every task and co-worker changes.

It will hold your marriage together until your spouse is ready to love you again.

It will hold your family together should you have to go into a crack-house and drag your child out.

Or, should you have to bury a child.

Or, should you have to love your brother through the razor-wire. Either side.

The prayer place takes you in to face your Soul — the real substance of your life. Why you’re here… what God says you’re capable of. The big picture. When you get through the confession part of prayer doors open. You commit to healing when you get low, on your knees. Then, lower still. And you know, a lot of sheep don’t really want to heal because there’s a payoff to staying unstable (we don’t have to change, we get attention, we get to be “right”…)

Prayer is a privilege.

A life-changing privilege.

Prayer is reserved for the people.

Reserved for relationship with the Most High.

It is a privilege reserved for you and me.

In the time of trouble,

in the time of fear,

in the time of questions,

in the time of tears,

you can come BOLDLY to the Throne of Grace and give honor to the Savior,

and lift each other,

and gain fresh life.

It comes from prayer. Thank You, Father.

Wake up.

Bend your knees.

Go.

“GOD ’s angel sets up a circle of protection around us while we pray. Open your mouth and taste, open your eyes and see— how good GOD is. Blessed are you who run to him.” Psalm 34:7-8 MSG

Good morning, DearOne,

Have you left room for the GOD FACTOR?

When you’ve walked with Him a while you’ve had a taste of His goodness …

you’ve watched Him heal your babies,

you’ve felt the supernatural POWER of The Most High rest on your life,

you’ve learned to EXPECT Him …

and, you’ve learned that because you know what it is like to feel His fire through the process of your rescue – you always must leave room for The God Factor.

God has a plan.

When we experience His POWER,

His PRESENCE,

Him as PROVIDER,

When we have watched Him move someone out of an impossible situation, and into a miracle,

when we have experienced His hand at work in our own life – when looking back we wonder “how did I survive that dark and dreadful place?” It was God.

And, He will do it again.

He will do it again.

Once you’ve tasted Him, you can’t get enough of Him, and you learn to EXPECT HIM.

GOD HAS A PLAN.

Wake up.

Expect Him.
