Do you have any dreams left? Beyond dreaming that the coyotes would quit howling so our dogs would quit barking so I wouldn’t have to get up and hollar at them in the wee hours and my man wouldn’t have to take the shotgun out to fire rounds that silence all of nature, yes … indeed … I’m not too tired to have dreams! No matter who you are – a stay-home mom, a top salesman, a teacher, a minister, a student …. whether at the top of your game or in a rut, God Most High, not only claims the title of Creator of the Universe, He also set dreams in place in the heart of little ole you.
Isn’t that fantastic?!
While you’re out tending to the needs of EVERYONE else, carve out time to honor your Maker by tending to the sparks He built in you, too. With the same careful action that you would tend a fire to keep you warm by a creek on a cold night (it would also keep the coyotes away), cultivate a part of the Holy planted dream in you.
Without it, you’ll probably still make rent and limp through your life-in survival mode … but, take it one action further and flame with passion.
Do it.
You have permission.
Start.
Go.

Mornin’ CalledOne!
You know what I love? When others say, “you’re wrong”, or “you can’t do it that way” because it’s different from the way that others would go about it, or it’s different from the way that the “scientific theory” proves, or it’s not “normal”, and you ease on out there and do it anyway because you follow the true call of your heart. You put all your eggs in your Creator’s basket. You know, it’s like standing at the T in the road and both lead to the same place and the left turn says “their way” and the right says “my heart’s listening to the Holy way”. True, their way is proven in today’s age; and, true, the comfort of ‘going along’ sure has it’s benefits … ultimately, it’s your call. Even when the wheels fall off, you get to choose your reaction. You get to choose your response to everything. And, spectators will sneer.
It may seem somewhat wild, fly by the seat of your pants, plan as you go, what would your mother say?! The God of the Universe may be taking you through a place where others will no longer recognize you (your closest allies knew you had it in you all along). It could be what you were born for.
Think about it.
Let yourself be called.
Even if they laugh.
Or, get mad.
Risk it.
Follow hard.
Immediately.
Go.

Good Morning, BlessedOne!
In a media-drenched world that calls to move us further and further from our Holy core, we must choose to impact one another’s lives in a spiritual way. The only way to bridge the distance back into our wholeness is to simply gather yourself, and give blessings away.

Fresh blessings are the new basic necessity of daily life . . . not just for new ventures, marriages, new babies, a new home, and such, but for the ones who have lost a child, for those closed into their own solitude, for the siblings of a criminal, for the caregivers, and the caretakers.

Blessings are released when we take the care of another into our own heart. A challenge happens in the space between a blessing and looking hardship in the face. In that space our imagination kindles a blessing-spark. No matter the dark alleyway, eternity within beckons a state of wholeness where everything comes together, where our losses will be made good, where our blindness focuses to vision, where damaged goods are made whole, where the questions asked through clenched teeth and sliding tears open to a barn full of surprise, where the travails of the seasons have glorious homecoming. To release a blessing is to call certain wholeness into the barren one.
Wake up.
Deliver a blessing.
And, another.
Go.

My bedrocks are my faith and my rural Oklahoma upbringing. They represent a vision of the Divine where nothing is excluded.
By the fact that we breathe, we are blessed. There is light that shines in our hearts, and from there we have the power to bless others and to be blessed by them. DearOne, is there anything more elementary than to see the Divine in action from one soul to another? Blessings circle each of us with the Light of the World. The Light has purpose
to protect,
to heal,
and to strengthen.
It is a kind summons where the human heart pleads with the Divine heart, and a magical event gives rise to an opening from which we get to choose to share a glimpse into eternity.
Blessing space surrounds.
Be invaded.
Then share Him.

Hello, SweetOne.
Have you ever noticed that our most massive messes come when we try to do something for The Almighty that we are convinced He can’t do for himself? Learning to live in trust is the hardest part of my walk.
All He asks for is the simple obedience of a loved child. Yet, so much of our behavior is driven by ANXIETY – because we don’t see that He is working on our behalf. Give trust a chance. Walk in it. We have no idea the behaviors that will be produced out of choosing to believe.
Simple belief.
Massive results.
God’s got this.
He is able.
Go.

Raging One, be still.
What do you do with smoldering anger? That slow-simmer, of which another is not meant to understand? Anger so hot, like trying to put fire in a burlap bag?
The head knows; right, DearOne?
Go to the Healer.
Someone, tell the heart.
Seek out the Calming Force himself. Take Him to meet the restless spirits face-to-face.
But, healing is a quest. It is an ongoing practice, not a single event. Every person’s healing is different, unfolding at slower layers of time. Every raw and messy emotion has it’s own crackling fire-spark, full of its own energy that can help us see in ways of glowing light, a way we’ve not seen before; or it can burn ulcers – black holes through every delicate layer of your being.
Rage has it’s purpose like every other emotion.
It rises,
rages,
burns,
falls,
dies.
Then, it has the power to transform us.
Choose your yoke carefully. Especially the ones that change everything.
Limp on.

Mornin’ BeautifulOne,
Yesterday, Dale and I attended a funeral of his uncle. God is peculiar with His surprises sometimes. We went to honor his uncle, yet Dale’s mom’s sisters were there, and their arms gave hugs that were so familiar – as if his momma’s arms were reaching from heaven straight into our hearts. He commented on the familiarity … two of the three sisters look like his mom, they move like her, they share her gentle nature … we went with the intent of being a resource of strength and encouragement to his aunt and cousins. As it turned out, we received a wildly-gentle blessing…a hug from his momma. That is SO profoundly God.
People may ask for evidence of the Holy. They want proof of the existence of His Spirit. As believers, you and I are the evidence. Our experiences of Him within and without are the proofs. Our thousands and millions of encounters with Him …within our heart,
our flesh,
our psyches …
through
our night dreams, and
our day thoughts, through
our yearnings, and
our inspirations,
through the gentle touch or stark correction of another, these are the verifications.
The fact that you and I hunger in His absence, that we look for and long for Him when we are separated from Him … these are the manifestations that He has imprinted on our hearts to be His.
To whom will you be His proof today? Someone is hungry to see evidence of the Almighty, and if they don’t see Christ in you and me, where will they ever find Him?
Go.

Now, DearOne, just sit quietly and listen. He might show you jealousy, or pride, or the way you’re treating someone, or maybe a wrong attitude …
Simple prayers lay down a track to your heart where God Most High can SHOW UP.
And, He will.
Trust Him.
Trust His ways.
Take action.
Pray.

What “something” do you do that slides across Spirit-oiled smooth from you? Notice it. The bell will chime, then each time you use the gift, it will grow. You have a super-natural gifting-
Rock the drums.
Give away a smile.
Hear their hurts.
Whisper a new way.
Research a science frontier.
Deliver balanced numbers.
Hold a child.
You exist for a higher calling.
Challenge your senses to stand with it and sway with the Spirit.
I wonder, in eternity, what’s the equivalent to a pizza party – because I feel sure there is a big one each time you allow your gift to glow.
Wake up.
Do your calling-thing.

Hi SweetOne –
Do you realize how huge it is that the God-Who-Saves-You allows YOU the power to make choices? Just like He gave Moses the power to change the near-fatal fate of the Israelites; Moses chose to trust that his present reality was not set in stone.
It was not as it appeared to be.
Even though a deep and powerful killer sea was between him and his goal, he chose to laser-beam focus on the end place.
He chose to believe that stepping out into the sure-death of the waves (which appeared as his only possibility) was not his only option.
The Creator offered Moses another possibility. God loves impossible situations.
Moses chose his new belief.
Moses accepted his new belief. He set his sight on the other side of the ocean – the place He desired to be. When he made his choice, his God responded, his body responded, and his people responded.
Moses had choices, and he chose not to believe what appeared to be only one fateful solution.
Your present reality isn’t set in stone. Your possibilities are endless. Direct you attention to your end result DearOne.
Command quiet over your flavor-of-the-moment-feelings, and invest your focus on the scenario of God’s best end result.
Wake up.
Pray as though you are already where God desires you to be.
Live it out today.
