Good Friday Believer!
Preparations to celebrate the Risen Christ are underway. Sheets cleaned, salads and pies readied. Eggs colored. Yard work finished. Everything delicious and spectacular awaits.
Have you ever noticed, though, the moments that come in the down time – the moments we hope will last forever come when we least expect them … Sitting around a table of dirty dishes, lying on the floor later – with loved ones doing their thing all around, sharing old family stories, creating new, and listening to each others adventures. The gift of attention and love flowing freely.
Jesus, appearing in person to the twelve after he arose – a least expected moment, a capstone moment. No one wanted it to end. No distractions. Solely centered on the King of the Universe. The gift of attention and love flowing freely within their tribe.
Bring Him along, into your gift of being present with your people – place your hand into His scarred one, and adore Him with them.
I have goose bumps at the thought –
Jesus.
Jesus.
Mmmmm.

‘In the evening of that first day of the week, the disciples were ⌊gathered together⌋ with the doors locked because of their fear of the Jews. Then Jesus came, stood among them, and said to them, “Peace to you! ” Having said this, He showed them His hands and His side. So the disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord. (John 20:19, 20 HCSB)

Hello Thursday Beloved Ones!
This season takes my mind back to that hill every single year. I picture looking out across the dry land and seeing Jerusalem’s city temples in the distance. Mourners and haters about, in the near crowd. Weeping intruded upon by jeers of victors.
The twelve saw Jesus thru different eyes -different experiences than anyone else. Over and over and over they saw withered people explode into full bloom right before their eyes.
Do you believe DearOne? Lives changed.
Jesus, in a pure, dejected, human moment asked them,
‘“You don’t want to go away too, do you? ” John 6:67
And, Peter, of all the disciples, (I just love him-I think because I can relate to him the most!), stepped up from the silence of the group, in his convicted whisper:
“You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and know that You are the Holy One of God! ” (John 6:68, 69 HCSB)
Read those words with your own conviction Sweetheart, over and over, read them.
We believe.
We know.
We know.
Live right there.

Hello Shining Soul!
Dearheart, are you as touched by nature as Habakkuk? The full and striking moon has left me awestruck by The Creator’s glory. Tiny blooms unfold for Him in whole praise “He is risen”!
Brown crunchy grass refills with life and reach to Him to bring Him honor, “He is risen”!
A sudden song burst from returning bird life “He is risen”!
The energy of puppies rolling rough and tumble and licking fresh faces “He is risen”!
The earth is pulsing all around “He is risen”!
And, a fantastic awe settles in pondering His Majesty.
Perhaps, yes perhaps, I will just sit in his presence a while.
You too? Yeah. I thought so.
Sit.
Stay.

‘The mountains see You and shudder; a downpour of water sweeps by. The deep roars with its voice and lifts its waves high. Sun and moon stand still in ⌊their⌋ lofty residence, at the flash of Your flying arrows, at the brightness of Your shining spear.’ (Habakkuk 3:10, 11 HCSB)

March 26, 2013 encircled

Good morning child of God!
Notice how, when you refuse to give in to the enemy’s ways, you are dismantling him. He loses a little more power over you with every temptation that you stop cold in its tracks. His strength is unable to act without us. He wants you to bite, he wants to drag you to the cellar to become his slave.
And, every single time you choose to act within the Shield and refuse him, your spiritual muscle gains strength. Father God surrounds you as a shield. When you call on its protection, you have no idea the power you are unleashing. No idea. Build there.

‘You know all about it, Lord. You have encircled me; You have placed Your hand on me. ⌊This⌋ extraordinary knowledge is beyond me. It is lofty; I am unable to ⌊reach⌋ it.’ (Psalms 139:4-6 HCSB)

This is a Miracle Monday for you Beloved!

He entered Jerusalem on a donkey.
Ever notice, the other reference to Jesus on a donkey, he was still in Mary’s belly? Interesting – he prepared for his earthling state on a donkey, then began his exit back to Father God … on a donkey.
King Jesus did not come to make you and me rich or powerful or healthy or famous – but to give us something far greater, everlasting eternity.
Yes, He came, to give you and me eternity, riding on a donkey.
Engage Him in a prayer-line Dearheart, that today, He will open your spiritual eyes to the depth and height and vastness of eternity. Your eternity.
Shout!
Go.

‘Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion! Shout in triumph, Daughter Jerusalem! Look, your King is coming to you; He is righteous and victorious, humble and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.’ (Zechariah 9:9 HCSB)

Happy fresh weekend SweetSoul!
The process of growth is unique in each of us. It’s a custom job, there are no “3 easy steps”! Miraculously, the Master Artist has chosen you as his premier project. Yes, YOU! The work itself invites you to take part, to be weighed against what He proposes … to live sold-out Spirit filled, to decide for or against, to be deepened. When you choose to stay freshly informed by The Almighty, a profound awakening grows in you – your mood is changed, and when your mood changes, your heart is changed. These changes can’t be accomplished by the will alone. They come from the shaping of Father’s hand -every decision you make that runs underneath the music, the dance, the pencil, the machine, the words, the wheel. You know when He is the guide there. You also know when He is not.
Allow it.
Be changed.
Go.

‘But anyone who lives by the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be shown to be accomplished by God.” (John 3:21 HCSB)

It is Friday my precious friends! Woooo!

Thinking about relationships. It doesn’t matter what kind of work you will ever do … it boils down to relationships – that’s the bottom line. Without that – you are not effective at anything.
So, if you don’t thank God Almighty for people, they will become a thorn in your flesh. When you thank God for them – they become LESS IRRITATING (!!) because you now have God Most High involved in it!!
If you really want to turn a rotten relationship around – it begins with your heart connected in prayer and thanksgiving for it with Father God. Any relationship.
Each one.
It works.
I know.
Your turn.
Go.

‘First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone,’ (1 Timothy 2:1 HCSB)
**Notice: the Word says EVERYONE!

Hello Sweet Soul!

What if you were a giraffe and you were raised by bears? Or a monkey raised by swans? You would try with all your might to please the pack, the giraffe would grow frustrated at not lumbering along like it’s peers, of preferring the taste of a leaf over raw prey, at trying to sleep all winter!
The monkey would try and try to swim beautifully like the graceful swans only to be a shaking, splashing, silly mess.
Following Christ means you won’t always fit in with the hipster peeps you hang out with. But, DearOne, there is only one you that you were created to be. Only one true mirror of who we are – if you want to know who you really are, look to the only source that can reflect your true image back to you. Find who you are in Christ’s mirror. Look at Him for your identity. Keep looking. Go.

‘Yahweh your God is among you, a warrior who saves. He will rejoice over you with gladness. He will bring ⌊you⌋ quietness with His love. He will delight in you with shouts of joy.” (Zephaniah 3:17 HCSB)

Hey hey hey God’s Praise Team!

I want to hear from you today. What is a worship song that gets stuck in your head and stays all day?
Which ones latch on when you hear them and ghost shadow you in and out of the hours?

I have many. Most are old hymns. Some are new-

‘And every prayer, every cry
You alone satisfy
We will lift Your praise again and again

You are high and lifted up
You are high and lifted up
And my soul sings hallelujah
To the Lamb, the Lamb of God

Majesty, majesty
Jesus Lamb of God
Majesty, majesty
Holy are You Lord

You are high and lifted up
You are high and lifted up
And my soul sings hallelujah
And my soul sings hallelujah

Majesty, majesty
Jesus Lamb of God
Majesty, majesty
Holy are You Lord

Sing it
Majesty, majesty
Jesus Lamb of God’

-Hillsong

‘So I will praise You as long as I live; at Your name, I will lift up my hands. You satisfy me as with rich food; my mouth will praise You with joyful lips,’ (Psalms 63:4, 5 HCSB)

BeautifulOne- welcome to the new,

Notice the crisis facing each life you brush by today. This is real life. No fairy tale here.
This place – in the crosshairs of what to do next or what to do about this or that – this is the time when the Spirit grows us. God Most High lays claim, in one way or another, and feeds us, pulls us out, shows us the secret passage, the hiding place, the escape route. And, it happens when we are at a place of stormy dark, or perhaps darkly calm – it happens and we learn the strength of the exile into His ways. Do not be afraid. Allow Him to push you through, grow you into this new place.
No fear.
Go.

‘Then we will no longer be little children, tossed by the waves and blown around by every wind of teaching, by human cunning with cleverness in the techniques of deceit. But speaking the truth in love, let us grow in every way into Him who is the head — Christ.’ (Ephesians 4:14, 15 HCSB)
