It is decision time. There is something you need to put down today. You need to leave it behind. Father God has a greater plan for you in 2014-but, there is a dark issue that holds you down.
Walk away.
In cold blood, leave it.
Open your prayer time. Speak to your Almighty God nakedly, shamelessly, pour your heart out to Him from the depths. Let Him evolve you from the hum-drum of the daily into the realm of the Holy … meeting Him deeper and deeper in union. Now, leaving the issue here, on this day, allow Him to bring in His profound power …
going deeper, still,
slivers of ecstasy move you on.
Do not take this lightly, LovedOne.
The more you join Him in this way, this daily intimacy expands –
for you to savor,
for you to be guided by,
for you to rely upon.

Wake up.
Leave it behind.
Be fantastic.

Through the past month, every time I turn around He has flashed PRAY in big, blinking, neon lights … and sometimes hinted around in the tiny fine print… that His desire in me and through me is to go a Spirit-step deeper in exploring Him and His POWER in my prayer-life. Good morning WarriorSpirit!
Imagine. Imagine the possibilities that adversity brings. Adversity is a great teacher. Especially family adversity. You know, my oldest son, Levi, got married recently – and we got his Holly. The whole wedding excitement and hoopla made me reflect a lot – and wonder how they will ever get through the rough times.
My parents made it clear that if I ever left Dale, and showed up on their doorstep, they’d turn me around and give me my marching orders to get right back to him. Work it out. So smart. Because, how else would we ever know that stronger relationships grow out of even stronger storms?
DearOne, whatever happens, do not let the enemy gain ground through your stubborn attitude. Beloved, there is so much more going on in your situation than your mind can grasp. So much more.
You don’t have to understand.
You don’t have to respond.
But, you must do your part in acting like a child of God Most High.
You must do your part.
You must.

‘The Word became flesh and took up residence among us. We observed His glory, the glory as the One and Only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.’ John 1:14

Good morning, BelovedOne!
He came to us, as one of us.
He shares His breath with us, when we feel we have none of our own.
He knows.
When we are too cold, and our hardened heart cuts quick, he warms us.
He knows.
Because He wore our skin, when tempers flare, He feels the heat, and He cools us down.
He knows.
When we rush too hot into emotion, in judgement, in desire, in ideas, He says, “be gentle.”
He knows.
And, He tells us, “Be friendly, but never tame in Spirit.”
Because, Dearheart,
He knows.

‘She will give birth to a son, and you are to name Him Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21
You are the reason.
I am the reason.
When God Most High sent the prophet Isaiah to tell of a coming Messiah, Father had you in mind.
When the angel, Gabriel, was dispatched to deliver news to a young and pure Mary, YOUR face was burning into our Father.
When Joseph walked Mary far, far from her home to be counted for the census, the God of the Universe was making a way for YOUR forever home.
When the cattle were lowing and the baby awoke in the stable, Mary kissed baby cheeks whose mission it was to bring YOU into His eternity.
When the people cried “Hosanna”, He rode into Jerusalem on a donkey for the sole purpose of bringing YOU home.
Whipped and scarred, crushed and bleeding, he held on to your eyes as His only purpose.
Every nail, every harsh swing of the hammer, He had to make this plan because YOU, His beloved, had to have a way.
He arose, and, you were His reason.
Oh, how He loves you and me.
Oh, how He loves you and me.
He gave His life, what more could He give?
Oh, how He loves you.
Oh, how He loves me.
Oh, how He loves you and me.
Eternity.
Say, “yes”.

‘And the glory of the Lord will appear, and all humanity together will see it.’ Isaiah 40:5

Quiet morning, DearOne.
God of peace,
God of wonder,
Set the enemy far away.
Christmas healing moves
in an anxious heart.
Place your veil on hardened eyes.
Give us vision of your Spirit.
Set anger free-away.
Release your holiness among my people.
Let us walk your bridge;
bold,
courageous,
a fire of dignity.
With face to your Son,
unguarded with expectation,
Father, show us your glory;
show me your glory.

‘When the angels had left them and returned to heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go straight to Bethlehem and see what has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.” They hurried off and found both Mary and Joseph, and the baby who was lying in the feeding trough.’ Luke 2:15, 16

They ran.
The shepherds started making moves.
Immediately. They hurried to see the baby.
Good morning, Dearheart.
You know, sometimes, we ask questions – not to seek answers – but to affirm something our soul knows already. You’re not doing yourself a favor by merely hearing the same answer from people over and over again. It is accepting the truth, making a conscious change and finally making a first move … that is your answer. Give your soul a chance to explore the life you are meant to live. Make that first move that calls you from the deep. Stop asking the same questions – at some point you have to make a decision and take action.
Your Creator lies in wait – ready to deliver you in exchange for your obedience.
Wake up.
Move.
Go to bed.

‘You did not choose Me, but I chose you. I appointed you that you should go out and produce fruit and that your fruit should remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you.’ John 15:16
This is your day, BelovedOne.
Take a long slow deep breath.
Now, another.
Get quiet for a moment and sink just below the surface of the clatter and the chaos running through your mind and running through your day. With the daily distractions locked away, take a moment now, and let the presence of Father God fill into all your space. Ask for His lead, allow His guidance to set your intention. Write it out:
‘In the light of my Creator, I intend to….’
Now, ChosenOne, as you slide into your day, pay very close intention to the ‘hmmms’, and the ‘how about that’s’, all the idiosyncrasies and connections that play into your hours that could … yes, they just might be, moving you closer in your intentional walk in the light of His GLORY.
There ya go.
It’s no accident.
You are the Chosen of God Most High.
Live there.

Good Wednesday, ShiningSoul-
Even in the hullabaloo commercialism of last night’s quick trip to BassPro with my heart-mate I could hear the presence of my Father.
People were kind.
Helpers were everywhere.
It was odd …
strumming in the background shadows, music of the miracle of the birth of our Savior.
In the midst of Santas and mistletoe and tinsel: Emmanuel.
Drumming with a chorus of angels, all who hurt were being held.
The good things in life are not the riches and fake icicles, but relationship with our Creator – not our plans, but His presence….
He withholds no good thing from us, because life’s good things aren’t ever things.
Wake up.
Hear Him in unexpected places.
Go to bed.

‘Now it is God who strengthens us, with you, in Christ and has anointed us. He has also sealed us and given us the Spirit as a down payment in our hearts.’ 2Corinthians 1:21, 22
Good morning, SealedOne!
You know, I often think the best thing we can do for Father God is listen to His whisper…to simply obey. To listen when He says to give a little extra time, or place a bit of cash in the hand of one in need, or respond when He prods us to tell someone the story of our faith.
These are seeds of obedience, seeds that get planted by His children who are sealed into a sure and certain eternity. Our charge on this journey, is to take as many as we can with us…and what better time to heighten your call and my call than this Christmas season?
Make this a day of hearing, healing, and obedience, AnnointedOne!
Wake up.
Hear Him.
Obey.
