‘So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to come over the man, and he slept. God took one of his ribs and closed the flesh at that place. Then the Lord God made the rib He had taken from the man into a woman and brought her to the man. And the man said: This one, at last, is bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh; this one will be called “woman,” for she was taken from man.’ Genesis 2:21-23

Today, a friend and his family are prepping for a kidney transplant. His third. This is not the life he thought he was planning for way back when. This kidney thing has taken his years into a mysterious habitat. Of course, sterile facilities, high tech procedures, and experts of profound support have become a part of his hours; but the deepest work while trekking through many strange, unplanned territories, has been with his Holy Spirit.

The artistry of his dance with the Spirit touches even those that don’t care to be touched. Whether one is, as the artist, in sync with the Holy, or one is the watcher, the listener, or the reader of his story … one sees it, hears it, reads it, feels it underneath his dance … in the music, in the words, and knows the Spirit of the Holy resides there.
Father God often takes us into unexplored territory, into places where the free-will of the human makes a choice to succumb to the tortures, or, like Jonathan, to allow the difficult to be covered so through and through with the Spirit of the Almighty that even a glimpse of the story is both healer and life-giver to the masses.
We all have a transplant story. Eve was a transplant recipient, too …. created for the same purpose as Jonathan, and you, and me:
honor God.
Tell me, what will you choose to do with your profound story?

‘The tongue that heals is a tree of life, but a devious tongue breaks the spirit.’ Proverbs 15:4

Let’s do a word check, DearOne.
Before you spit your words out today, taste them first. Very often, something from the underworld slips up into words before any spiritual good-sense has a chance to swirl with them.
Surely, I’m not the only one that has this problem! Right?!
Out there in the daily physical world, everything gets translated into simple gains and losses. But, in the spiritual world, all talk peeks into true sight, and right action, and into whether or not you and I are becoming a person of The Holy:
one of intense inner strength,
powerful, life-force faith,
and knowing.
Let your tongue be a muscle of your Father’s Almighty healing, Sweetheart … in words you use on others as well as words you say to yourself.
Wake up.
Be kind.
Be a healer.
Go to bed.

‘The instruction of the Lord is perfect, renewing one’s life;
the testimony of the Lord is trustworthy,
making the inexperienced wise.
The precepts of the Lord are right,
making the heart glad;
the command of the Lord is radiant,
making the eyes light up. (Psalms 19:7, 8 HCSB)

Good morning GoldenOne-
Tell me, Sweetheart, are your eyes lit up? Or, are they grey and downcast? Are you living in peace or are you living jaded, starving for peace? Because, Beloved, as His child, it is time for you to live the life: is your peace in chaos? Do your emotions feel like mangled chicken guts?
Jesus said stop it. It is time for your eyes to LIGHT UP! You don’t have your own peace anymore.
You.
have.
His.
peace.
Jesus’ peace is my peace. Live right there.
Claim it.
Own it.
Live it.

Good morning.
The coyotes down on the creek are making noise this morning. Some kind of conflict is happening down there. Cattle are bawling. Dogs are barking. Birds are on edge. They’ve got all the creatures stirred up here.
How about you, DearOne? Any conflict?
Sometimes, I’ve got to search deeper…. how am I glorifying God Most High in my actions?
In my days?
In my hours?
In my minutes?
You know, Darlingheart, life has many fences that divide and separate. Not the barbed-wire kind, but the personal kind – the kind that keep us meddling and conniving and bitterly hurting each other. Why do we do that?
What’s right is to walk in love. What’s right is to act in forgiveness.
Anytime you get agitated with another it is not their problem, it is yours. It is all about you.
Their actions can only hurt your heart because of your own spot of bitterness. At some point, you’ve decided to let the enemy rule a piece of you with hate. What grudge in you do you need to hand back over to your Creator?
Your idol time?
Your loose lips?
Your judgmental eyes?
What will you do to hand the bitter over to Love?
Yeah. Me too.

‘At the same time, they also learn to be idle, going from house to house; they are not only idle, but are also gossips and busybodies, saying things they shouldn’t say.’ 1 Timothy 5:13

Good morning, Glimmering Soul,
Have you been lonely? Why is it that days can be full of people everywhere, doing the same game, yet, your heart cries, lonely?
The stories are different. The reasons vary from one’s life to the next.
But, the purpose of every empty heart remains the same – to look to the Source of Life to hold you and me in fiery love, in his Immaculate Heart, back from the very edge.
Set a pencil in your fingers. Begin with a simple list of words, and begin to delicately sew your story onto a page.
As dark thoughts gel together, watch the odd thing unfold, Sweetheart – tough skins fall away. Delicate light extends from the barren place. Beautiful, unhooded, golden light; now, move from there….shimmering. Even slightly. Yes, even slightly is enough.

‘He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He renews my life.’ Psalms 23:2, 3

BeautifulOne,
Your story is one that gets mined – like coal and diamonds, it’s a process. There will be discomfort. Pain.
Your tale can never be found in a book. It comes from an eye-witness account of your people, your sunrises, your life.
You know you are on the right path if your knuckles get scraped up, you have restless nights, like sleeping on the cold ground – not once, but over and over again.
In every life story, your blood gets spilled along the way, sometimes, the blood of others. Stumbling around in the dark, walking circles in the night, bone-chilling adventures are teachers, hair-raising revelations surface. God is working in you there, in every tender place. His Spirit moves in the tender.
Work with these, DearOne. Work with your stories, work with your life – yours – not someone else’s. Water them with your tears and your ways til the Spirit blooms bigger there.
And then, bloom again.

Welcome this beautiful, crisp morning DearOne!

‘Come to terms with God and be at peace; in this way good will come to you.’ Job 22:21

Today, unearth the good in the ugly,
the peace in your struggle,
and all that makes you grateful not hateful.

Toxic energy is dangerous territory, Spirit Warrior.

‘Watch out, brothers, so that there won’t be, in any of you, an evil, unbelieving heart that departs from the living God. But encourage each other daily, while it is still called today, so that none of you is hardened by sin’s deception.’ Hebrews 3:12, 13
This is a simple message. But it is anointing.
Be slick.
Cover your mind, mood, and emotions so thickly with the Holy Spirit that bitter words, and hate-filled voices, and aggressive body language slides right past you.
Be slick. No matter who they are, or what kind of negative hatred they try to claim on you. Be slick.
They own their issues. Not you. You have your own stuff to work out. God is dealing with their bitterness on a level not meant for you or me to understand.
Be respectful.
Be obedient and gentle with God’s child. But, do not, DO NOT, be slammed down by the enemy’s psychotic attempt to destroy your peace. Especially, when that attempt comes through one who’s heart may be troubled.
That is not for you or me to judge.
You are in the shelter of GOD ALMIGHTY. Sweetheart, you don’t have to react back to them with the same bitterness they deliver to you.
Their ‘coping with life’ problems do not belong to you.
Their hate is not your hate to own.
Be slick. Fire the stabs they deliver as far as the east is from the west. And, pray for them to take their ownership of peace with the Creator.

My dear friend, God’s ways are right.

‘Make Your ways known to me, Lord; teach me Your paths. Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; I wait for You all day long.’ Psalms 25:4, 5

Recognize Him:
Holy
Almighty
Righteous
Pure
All-knowing
All-powerful
All-wise
Sometimes, looking around, I see mostly broken-hearted people. They live in self-appointed prisons of hostile anger. They spew their victim-mad posture and spill over their built up years of a pained mind, wandering in and out of their heartbroken days. Locked up in their hate, they hurt.
Locked deeply in their darkness, there is yet a secret, wide-open skyway which holds their soul’s attitude which can fly anywhere, fully alive, it can never be caged, except by their own choices.
The culture may lie to us about many things, but there is a truth they can’t touch. God’s ways are right.
Freedom comes to those who accept Him. Wings are given to those who say “yes, Father. Teach me. Show me. Guide me.”

You are being called, Sweetheart:
‘Then David said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don’t be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He won’t leave you or forsake you.’ 1 Chronicles 28:20

Good morning StrongOne.
Listen. Do you hear the calm voice in your panicked heart? Overwhelmed, and confused, and scared, and pulled into the breath of a windstorm – can you hear the Voice of Holy Thunder in the distance?
The job seems agonizing and the work too huge for someone like you.
You do not know why, but you are back again, at that place that calls for your help, your hands, your feet, your heart — for the rest of your life.
Your bones whisper with His Spirit.
You know how He moves.
You and I know, we try to take our spiritual understandings with both: a dose of serious and a dose of good humor – that He would assign someone like you or me to such a task. Ha. That He would gift us in such a way as to do the work. Really?
Yes, really.
He has.
He did.
He expects.
Begin.
