Our brain powers up, screaming orders at the should-do’s and ought-to-be’s so that we black out the rest of the truth … Father God did not merely make us a brain-being. He made us a heart-being and a body-being too. Shut down the brain a while and listen to His call on your heart and, listen to His call on your body, in equal parts with your brain.
What ‘new’ is He introducing to renew your body? Gently step into His call there.
What ‘new’ work is He kneading into your heart? Let Him mix it into the threads of your DNA. It’s ok to let go of some old, useless stuff.
His image is being threaded into you with every single tiny nod of agreement you give His way.
Every part.
Baby steps.
Gentle nod.

The access to easy information these days – jumping onto the “information highway” at the slightest whim – easily steals one’s heart far away. In the end, all we can ever really share and pass on is our own firsthand experience with The Almighty. And, let me just ask you, how can we build up experience with God Most High when we allow our hearts to stay distracted from giving Him a piece of our time? Sweetheart, its not the voice of the masses that will help you through this day or this season – it is the voice of the Master. Guard your overwhelmed heart. There is nothing short of an art in us to get still and intimate with the Maker of our our journey.

Silence is one of the rare simplicities of life. Getting quiet to just “be with” is the way to hold the Holy close. His work on your struggling place will begin simply because you have called on Him to enter there. He knows what to do. He has been waiting for us to come to this healing moment Beloved One, so He can hold the door open and pour in….in ways only the Spirit knows. Silence is one of the many languages He uses to speak to the most tender place. Listen. Listen.

Humans need love. I remember reading about a cruel research study carried out in an orphanage a long time ago where half the children received food, water, and clean diapers – the most basic of needs. The other half were held, nurtured, rocked, touched, smiled at, and loved. After a few weeks the children in the untouched group began showing drastic signs of failure to thrive.
There are desperate souls all around us – dying for love. Will you choose to notice them today?
Will you choose to sink your toes into your faith and reach your arms to them in the confidence of Father God?

Hello “Unlikely One”!
You know, I’ve been thinking about how often Father God’s power shows up in unlikely spots. Especially in ones who don’t seem to have the
‘right’ tools, or the
‘right’ energy, or the
‘right’ effort, or the
‘right’ talents, or the
‘right’ confidence.
They simply have the ‘right’ faith in the Father.
The Creator surprises us in our river of doubt when our heart is set on Him. He swirls the drowning waves into blue and silver and gold to churn the soil below, making it good for growing. It is there He shows off His perfect power.

Wake up.
Be unlikely.
Go to bed.

Good morning Forgiven One,
The release of old rage, layer by layer, piece by piece is necessary. There are many ways to ‘get over it’. Counting to 10 is a good start – any way you can jiggle the spill of anger juice adrenaline into your system so your reaction frees up help, not harm – that is powerful.
Sweetheart, Father God leads us to take a break to refocus attention on the Holy and away from the source of your crazy.
Change rooms.
Change the issue.
Change the scenery.
There is a different pace of forgiveness for every person, but excessive boiling is hard on the soul. It is time to start to exhaust it.
Wake up.
Dismantle anger.
Fill love in its place.
Go to bed.

Hello New Creation!
The rising of each new sun means we have a new purpose. Dive in BeautifulOne.
Let yourself renew.
Torment things of the past rise and fall and are cyclical. Even forgiven anger – the anger that was needed at the time of defense for protection, costs plenty to keep. It tends to creep back in. It burns hot. Smokes out our renewal with its blackness. It fogs the ways of seeing clearly.
Sweetheart, the red-hot-residue may never go all the way away. But, the ash it leaves behind should be light. Dustable. Not a hungry fire. To carry old rage beyond its usefulness is to carry a burden of anxiety. It harms you, not the attackor.
What is your ideal outcome? Do you want to move through the crisis with justice or mercy? How would you want to be handled if the table were turned?
I choose mercy.
Mercy, Father.
Give me mercy.
If you have an unforgiving spirit, do you know what you are supposed to do?
Get over it.
