Poised and prepared, He calls you to allow His Spirit to simply flow into you; then through you; then out of you into another soul.
He is at work. He is pulling a worn soul toward you, magnetized by their need for the Holy, He pulls. They are desperate to experience a fresh-fill. There is only one place they have a fighting chance to refuel with Him this day – that, my Spirit-filled padre, is through you. Agree. Answer the call to be filled to overflowing by His Spirit. Glow brightly … “Yes, Lord. Use me.”
Go to bed.
‘The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him—
a Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
a Spirit of counsel and strength,
a Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.’ Isaiah 11:2
They will come to you in need of Father God. They are desperate. Will you agree to overflow on behalf of the God of the Angel Armies?
SweetSoul, in cold blood, leave negativity at the curb. Walk away. Do not give in to that.
These days I am reading and studying a lot (A WHOLE LOT) about the victim-mindset. Specifically, those who have lived under the negative energy of a bully. I came across a fantastic study by Dr. Hew Len who was to “fix” a ward of mentally ill, hard-core criminal inmates. Instead of traditional therapy, he began to view every negative trait and aspect of this world as his choice of perspective.
He decided the place to start with the criminals was to heal himself first. So, as he studied their files, he prayed for them and for himself:
“I love you.
Please forgive me.
Over and over, consistent prayer.
The wing was eventually shut down. The hard core inmates had been Divinely healed by the Jesus way to love and accept and forgive. Did I mention, he didn’t confront or meet with them?!! He didn’t try to “fix” them through fancy, hot-shot, psycho-babble He won them through love and prayer.
For whom do you need to build a file to thumb through and pray?
I believe I’ll write that simple prayer on my palm today.
‘For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, that He might bring you to God, after being put to death in the fleshly realm but made alive in the spiritual realm.’ 1 Peter 3:18
Darlingheart, you’ve stood faithful. That makes the Spirit soar!
‘Consider it a great joy, my brothers, whenever you experience various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.’ James 1:2, 3
There are necessary battles that tear and prod and hurt and awaken deep in the dark. The battles spur emotions that only Father God can be trusted with. What empowers one can shut another down in their tracks. Only the Holy knows why. We aren’t meant to know; we are only meant to find the small place of breakthrough. That thin place calls you and calls me to make a move. There is where we are to enact one of the most gentle, pointed, and powerful responses. He breathes in life to our trial. We are to respond to that.
Beloved, you have no idea how the Spirit is able to work in the heavenlies around your pain. Very often, its not even about you, but through your grief, another soul is moved into His arms. He plants His inspired thought into you and you act.
FaithfulOne, rise up to His call again this day. Over and over with brave heart and brave mind, refuse to support the oppressor anymore. You were born for this challenge of a lifetime – do you really think a small defeat on the way to The God of the Universe’s result is enough to throttle His ultimate victory?
Get this: Every single time you move to His call-the Power behind your trial lays claim to invincible results.
You have no idea what the slightest obedience will yield. You don’t have to know. Just move. Go.
This day begins fresh, HealedOne,
‘I told them how the gracious hand of my God had been on me, and what the king had said to me. They said, “Let’s start rebuilding,” and they were encouraged to do this good work.’ Nehemiah 2:18
Parts of this life, I chose to live as a victim. Oh, I didn’t realize it at the time, I’m not real proud of it, but it was a necessary journey … at least for me it was … to be so controlled by other human opinions of my worth led me to learn the ways of the outer life.
When to move.
When to stay put.
How to respond.
The mechanics of culture.
All the things of a dumbed-down-mundane.
Call it what you want – that mundane ego inside finally clashed enough with the wildish Holy Spirit to wave the white flag. That is where the hand of Father God touched, and He said, “My Child, let’s start rebuilding.”
You see, no matter the way or the size of the oppression, whether self-inflicted or from an outside source, the miracle Holy within has the ability to hear the call, the one that powers the “let’s start rebuilding”.
You have a choice to make.
Ready to rebuild? Go.
What, DearOne, are you calling in this morning? What will you call in to you today? Let’s take time right now to plan for it, yes, let’s plan with intention and purpose … just like David showed us – just like we will show those who follow us –
‘(David) called on the Lord, and He answered him with fire from heaven.’ 1 Chronicles 21:26
Sweetheart, whether your heart is simple or you have the ambition of a raging river, whether you are trying to make it to the top, or just trying to make it through the hours of this day, whether you are cut of fancy fibers or you prefer fibers of the earthy soil, calling in the power of the Holy belongs here, as your first action.
To often, your deepest knowing gets smothered out under the day’s to-do list.
Push on now, push the intentional in you to focus on The Almighty – look His Spirit back into your bones, and with everything in you call Him into your every breath of this moment. Call Him into this day. Call Him in to orchestrate your mind, mood, and attitude to carry out the task, His task, before you. Do not take this lightly. Call Him in to use you to prepare the way for others, for your children and every soul that follows to fulfill His purpose in their lives.
Call Him in to answer you with fire from Heaven.
Go to bed.
‘… but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire there was a voice, a soft whisper.’ 1 Kings 19:11, 12
Good morning, ChosenOne!
We’ve had a ruckus. Not an ordinary day, or weekend, or year.
Ruckus days have purpose – heartbreak,
wind: they try, often they succeed, in taking us down til there is not one bloody scrap left in us.
Then, when we get to the other side of the noise, we learn to take pride in the survival of the storm. The blood spilled in the process was for a single purpose: to quietly behold, so clearly, the voice of our Creator-
And, from that one quietly, protected place after the storm – well, that’s where one seed begins to grow into many seeds.
Go to bed.
So…have you ever known another that has lost their way? In searching for their legs again, they still seem to know how to keep moving, yet they act as if they have no sense. They know “things” – they are just messed up in the head on how to make “things” work together for their own good. Like a mother raccoon teaching her babies how to catch fish – they already know how to catch fish, they are born with that. She must teach them of the dangers that may be lurking. She must teach them to have a wary eye before they get in over their masked eyes. She shows them how to access their tools and how to sharpen their instincts. It is a trial and error process.
Many, many errors.
But,there is hope. And as long as there is hope, she keeps teaching and they keep sharpening.
They may look like a mess In the process. They scrabble around,
sniff the dirt,
chase a bug,
scratch the ground,
paw in the water.
They snap at the air, and twist their ears all around like trying to find a secret transmission from space. Sometimes, they freeze stone-cold, for what seems like an eternity.
That is so us, isn’t it?
Once they learn the signs- the clues come together and they finally know what to do next.
The Holy Spirit handles our wild-hearts in much the same way. Even the ones who have not yet invited Him in, still seek Him out and long for Him. And, He nudges, and motivates. No matter where the heart moves, each one yearns for Him and His acceptance, His wisdom, His lead. And, for each one that looks for Him, we find Him. It’s not as hard as one might imagine … for He is pursuing us too. We are His young.
‘All these blessings will come and overtake you, because you obey the Lord your God.’ Deuteronomy 28:2
‘Let us be concerned about one another in order to promote love and good works.’ Hebrews 10:24
Arise with expectation, BeautifulSoul,
There are parts of some relationships in your life that cry out to be released from your grip and placed into the heart of the Almighty.
He calls for them.
He sees you running,
looking back to see if they are catching up,
only to keep running. Endless. Tired. You step into your day clothes to get swiped at again if they get too close.
He has a plan to gently rock the tender back into the life of the bond you once shared with them. He knows where to stand, where to growl, when to get down and dirty to get to the place of kindness where you both need to give and need to receive.
That is where the good works can be freed and can begin. Yes, that is where the longer reaches of love will leave deep footprints.
Let go of bones. Forget a little. Give your Creator space to call a fresh-wild breath into the hands and hearts of weary-worn friendships.
‘But the seed in the good ground — these are the ones who, having heard the word with an honest and good heart, hold on to it and by enduring, bear fruit.’ (Luke 8:15 HCSB)
What’s up these days with the seed that has been assigned to you by the Master of the Universe? Is it sitting around in
sealed up tight inside?
I guess my question is, are you allowing it to grow – or not?
There are key people who have been assigned to your life by God Almighty.
They adore you. (You may not realize it, but it is true).
They look up to you. They are watching and learning from you. The reason they have been assigned there is because they need to know God. And, the only hope they may ever have to meet Him is from the seed your life sows into them.
Let your life be proof of His authority,
of His love,
of His ways,
of His peace.
You never know what seed will take root and flourish and enlighten the next generation.
It is a big responsibility.
You can handle it.
