“Be generous with the different things God gave you, passing them around so all get in on it” (1 Peter 4:10)
Good morning, DearHeart,
Sometimes, I wonder if all people make the mistake of thinking what they are good at is common to everyone. I love to read and write and share it because it brings me joy and peace and a great deal of satisfaction.
I have a friend that is highly organized. Her house is almost labeled with what goes where … and those places are ALL dust-free, it’s amazing. Everything is up-to-the-minute-done there . Envy is not a good thing – but, man I envy those kinds of people. When she comes to my house I go into pure panic mode.
My home is dusty. In my living room I currently have one chair (& surrounding floor) surrounded with with mmm, maybe about 40 books/pens/bibles/notebooks. Looks like chaos to most people. Looks like love to me. Another chair is covered and surrounded with jewelry making stuff. And, my couch has laundry that needs to be put away. I wish it bothered me more, but it sorta makes me feel comfortable and real, and needed. (It drives my man and my youngest nuts – their brain cells are highly organized. They’re always trying to fix me. Sometimes-I move things just to watch them squirm. 😂Lol)
Here’s what I love about gifts, you’ll know yours because it will bring you joy. And, someday, someone who admires it (because theirs is different) might ask you to share yours – and if you agree, it becomes a branch … and that is how God uses us to connect with each other. His plans always blow my mind … how He made these ways for us to become a part of each other’s lives … so our hearts get all interlaced and tangled up together. It’s what makes teamwork work. When we stretch out our gift-branch, we reach right over and straight into another’s heart. Pretty cool plan, huh?
Wake up.
Stretch out your gift.
