Good morning, BelovedOne!
All God wants is a place in your heart and in my heart. It’s not comfortable, at least for me it isn’t … to look back on choices made and the thoughts that have been the driver of those choices. Thoughts turn into intentions. Sometimes, it’s all good and right and noble. Sometimes, thoughts become a curse. Even though we know, I KNOW, the power of thoughts, still I struggle. We all do.
That’s where mercy steps in.
The past, mmm, 25 years or so, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about my focus. My foolish heart wants to please others, and stand in agreement with them, even when it is wrong.
God Almighty plants His choices in each child’s heart. Look for Him. You will find Him. He makes it very personal; not the choice of our well meaning teachers, or preachers, or parents, or bosses, or spouses, or friends. It is one on one. It may not be the popular opinion in your home. It might send friends into orbit in the places you spend your days. But, peace in a troubled heart only comes when we get past the earthlings and come face to face with a Creator that is focused on loving us where we’re at. Even if its ugly.
Mercy covers us.
He is focused in on hot-pursuit of you and me. Align your focus right back at Him. Go.
