‘Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!’ Philippians 4:4
“I’ve got the joy, joy, joy, joy, down in my heart …”
You can probably finish that little song, Dearheart! Even on a Monday morning! And, even when the trials get heavy or the times when the same ole – same ole gets weary.
God’s presence on your soul tests the eyes of your heart to find joy in various places. Look for joy being carried by those with:
silver,
rags,
muddy feet,
skin that looks like wood,
or, soft as rose petals,
in a frail child,
the bark of a dog,
or the movement of His creatures.
Stay awake, PreciousSoul. Joy shows up in many sizes, shapes, and colors.
Wake up.
See joy.
Go to bed.
