Good morning, DearHeart. Our sweet grandbaby, Rush, spent last week in Children’s Hospital battling RSV and a bronchiolitis infection. We had some concerning hours through the week and infinite prayers for his little body to once again be strong. He came home Saturday, and today, I’m thinking of what lessons we can take with us from this cold place as we allow ourselves to HOPE for what Spring will bring! There’s something beautiful about giving ourselves permission to let HOPE rise up in our hearts because eventually, that HOPE begins to seep out on others! We do have an enemy who loves to keep us isolated and silenced as he stirs the pot with our worries and fears. However, when we choose to turn our worries into thanksgiving and worship, doors open, chains fall and we are blessed by getting to BLESS God in the midst of uncertainty. And, the uncertainties that just seem to crawl into our hours seem to piggy back on one another, don’t they? The more we learn to shift the posture of our heart to knees that bend … the more our eyes open to see the goodness of our Savior … even in … especially in the dark hours.
What are your uncertainties today? Will you shift your fear-filled perspective to see the opportunities to praise King Jesus when your stomach knots up and you feel your heart panic today?
Wake up.
Find moments of GLORY.
Go.
*Pray specifically today for all the children who are in hospital beds fighting ugly battles with infection and viruses.
