Good morning, DearHeart.
Some nights are sleepless. Mind gets cluttered with voices of other people …
questioning your judgement …
telling you to go along…
think like everyone else…
or else.
Sensing that someplace … beyond the noise … you’ll find the softness of your soul’s voice, which will lead you to unravel all the mysteries of the Milky Way. Or, at least unravel and guide you through the why’s of your own little world. You go to your knees.
There is a God who knows all about you.
Your story.
Your parents.
Your first love.
World War 2.
Your failed relationships.
Your spoiled projects.
Nanotechnology.
Your quest to save your world.
In the Holy place, that same God pulls you in. He asks questions that bypass the worldly troubled voices. Those questions begin to soften the tightness you feel in your chest. The lump in your throat explodes and releases the pressure there. You let down your defenses … and once again remember that here within this place – just you and the Holy of Holies – this place is where you and He have always unlocked the most hopeless problems. You feel the fresh wind of the Holy Spirit sail through your cells stirring His creativity in your places of heartache. And, you pray you will live through this to see His hand work mightily on your behalf, for His Glory.
He hovers over your every move.
He takes the seat with you at the table. He reminds you that no problem can be solved from the same mindset that created it. So, in His Sovereignty, He is fashioning a fresh mindset.
Do you understand?
He is uncovering qualities you forgot you had.
He is retrieving your soul.
He is dusting off the the ashes of what has been burned away in you.
He is reinventing you, again.
You are so much more than you think you are.
Trust Him. Trust His ways.
“Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus…
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:19, 23-25 ESV
Wake up.
Enter in.
The Holy of Holies awaits.
Go.
