Good morning, DearHeart.
The other night, just past sunset, our granddaughter, Liv, who will be 2 in August, kept looking over mother’s shoulder out the window. Holly and I turned several times to see what she saw, and we saw nothing.
“Is it Baron (Rottweiler)? Is Baron out there?” We looked again. He was not.
Maybe it is her reflection? But, she wasn’t at an angle where she could see herself.
Maybe it is an angel.
The soul of a child stays close to the surface. Have you ever noticed the look of aged wisdom in a child’s expression? They are not afraid to venture into the deepest emotion of the moment – into the deeper landscapes of their heart … and bring them to the surface. They are still at home in the realm of the soul where they are all the wiser for confronting every emotion in the moment – where their angels help them evolve and relate from the deep … they are not afraid to allow the angels, who are on assignment by the command of the Most High God, to enter and walk them through the doors of change and transformation.
Perhaps in childlike wisdom, your call today is to release the hardened numbness that life has grown in you. Perhaps, like our sweet baby Liv, your call is to trust the hand of your assigned angel who is reaching out to walk you through your transformational journey.
I’m praying for childlike trust in you and me.
“Beware that you don’t look down on any of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels are always in the presence of my heavenly Father.” Matthew 18:10 NLT
