“Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.” Colossians 3:12-13 NLT
Good morning, BlessedOne.
Forgiveness matters.
The enemy wants us to flail around in bitterness and hurt – he uses every tool in his arsenal to keep us bound up in offense. The devil is the one calculating this demise and inflicting whatever hurt he can muster.
Here’s the God-given remedy to the road to our restoration. Start with a blessing.
Bless them.
Bless the pain process that has surfaced.
Bless yourself as the one who is hurting.
Bless the experience, DearOne.
Bless all who have witnessed the pain, and know they have suffered, too.
We have been given the right emotional tools, in this right place, at this right time to heal and to experience God’s mastery over impossible situations. Know that hurt only happens to give us hope, a new way to see His presence in our lives rather than giving up. A simple prayer blessing everything about the person and the ordeal is the place to start applying the wisdom learned in the process.
Tenderhearted mercy.
Kindness.
Humility.
Patience.
Gentleness.
Allowance.
Wisdom. Wisdom. Wisdom.
Wake up.
Bless them.
Bless the process.
Bless your growth.
