Suffering,
and anguish,
and pain have to happen in this human life.
It has to happen for you and me to understand that Christ’s death, was really not a death at all, but a birth. Its a paradox of sorts, isn’t it?
Within you is a place where resurrection is rising. When you come to the place where you begin to experience a love so absolute that nothing can defeat it, then you begin to experience the birthing power of Christ’s passion that has been unleashed upon the planet
and the world
and the universe –
the universe that lies within you.
His love … unleashed in you and me can only happen if you surrender every thought to Him. Then, love consumes. Full-on. Full-tilt.
And, your suffering becomes not anxiety-filled or masochistic, or ever-painful … it takes on a spotlight of pure sacrifice, a pure kind of abandonment love.
The suffering place … yeah, this pain is becoming a place where the full force of mercy is consuming. Surrender to the love.
The process has already begun whether you see the Love at work or not.
You realize it has to happen just as Christ’s resurrection had to happen from His brutal death – the suffering was the only way the birthing power of love could erupt.
Life-death-life.
Life happens upon the surrender, DearOne.
This is the vital clue to surviving the horror of the dark nights – I have discovered through the help of The Most High God, that His love is the sustaining power in you and me through a dark night and it is here to prepare you for the miracle of your birth.
When the suffering happens, it opens a place in you of total, absolute, final surrender because there is nothing you, as an ego,
or as a person,
or as a brilliant intellectual,
or as a bum,
or as a seeker,
there is nothing anymore that you can do. You can only open to let the process do you.
“God raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power.” 1 Corinthians 6:14 HCSB
Wake up.
Let the process do you.
