‘I pray that you, being rooted & established in love, may have power..to grasp how wide & long & high & deep is the love of Christ.’ Eph 3:17-18
Good morning, PreciousSoul,
When I think of the love that led to the cross, the unfairness of that purest heart dying with such brutality, my mind goes numb.
The way the story unfolded was based on lies and assumptions and hearts whose tenderness had bled out. The same is still true. Sometimes, the story people have of us is based on assumptions fueled by misinformation. It can be brutal. What will you do with that, Beloved?
We are unable to see the spiritual heart and intentions of another person. Others are unable to see yours. Our Creator is still active in His refining work. We humans are full of assumptions. And, we assume way more than we ever have the guts to interrupt in that assumption making … interrupt and say, ‘wait, there’s got to be something I’m missing.’
That’s the most shocking and surprising and beautiful thing. Most of the time what you thought about a person or a situation or what happened to you both is a story in your head, not in the facts.
When I’ve done all I can do, praying down wisdom for doing the right thing in the right way, wisdom to hold people together, and someone wants still wants to make me the object of their drama, here’s what I do:
-set a boundary,
-walk away,
-land in my Savior’s peace,
-don’t look back.
There is pain in breaking free. Then, comes rest and peace in the Savior,
God Most High,
The Lord of the Angel Armies.
I’m reminded often, the King Of The World, who holds me tight, also holds those precious souls. Sometimes, we love up close and personal. Other times, we hold hearts close and tightly loved only from a distance.
‘I pray that you, being rooted & established in love, may have power..to grasp how wide & long & high & deep is the love of Christ.’
Wake up.
Release Christ’s love in them.
Feel His peace rise in you.
Go.
