It’s playoff time. That pretty much consumes that certain ripple of energy that streams in the background of every other thought process and every other thing we do here. It also marks the rise of the “yes”.
Seasons, in the arena of life get intense.
They get heavy.
They pound.
They try to slam our game plan.
They try to crush our Spirit.
And, through the chaos and resilience, the seasons hammer you and me into brand new shapes.
To get to the greater “yes”, to excel into new territories means full-tilt reliance on The Almighty. Because, it is only in Him that we garner needed courage to say “no” to all of the enemy’s chaotic distractions. On the other side of saying ‘no’, are all the things you and I are dying to say ‘YES’ to.
And, from that heavy place, well … that is where we rise.
“The burdens laid upon us were so great and so heavy that we gave up all hope of staying alive. We felt that the death sentence had been passed on us. But this happened so that we should rely, not on ourselves, but only on God, who raises the dead.”
2 Corinthians 1:8-9
Wake up.
Rise.
