“But you, dear friends, carefully build yourselves up in this most holy faith by praying in the Holy Spirit, staying right at the center of God’s love, keeping your arms open and outstretched, ready for the mercy of our Master, Jesus Christ. This is the unending life, the real life!” Jude‬ ‭1:20-21‬ ‭MSG‬‬
Good morning, Beloved,

Have you ever watched a broken person come back from the edge? One so broken that they were quite written off? God loves those impossible situations – while human, His heart, His mission, His dreams were literally shattered, too.

So broken.

He gets it.

And, that place of completely broken is where the real story began=hope.

There is nothing so entrancingly genuine as a broken-hearted person’s love. For in giving it they are saying, “Know what? I have gone up in smoke, burned into ashes for those I have loved. I have been slowly eaten, then spat out into the deepest canyon. And, I’d be willing to bet you’ll ruin me, as well … but, here. Here’s my heart. Take it again. I’d like you to.”

When you and I continuously set our hearts on being built by the Holy Spirit, we are choosing to stay in the center of His love to become more like Him. Arms outstretched and open. Again. This … this is real life. And, it’s worth it.

Wake up.

Love again. Arms wide open.

Blessed with the crazy notion, the wild-eyed foolishness, and the madcap belief in the simple idea that I might help one to make a decision that makes a difference in the world . . . as stated by Ralph Waldo Emerson’s famous quote…“To know one life breathed easier because you lived, this is to have succeeded.” I get to use my small business background as a former owner of a Flower Shop and Hallmark Store and former co-owner of Disability Specialists, LLC, to help folks build dreams. I hold a M.Ed with emphasis on Adult Training and Education. I’d love to get my Doctorate in Educational Leadership . . . someday.
