“For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.”
Matthew 24:27 HCSB
Good morning, BelovedOne.
What do people do who have no hope? Who get so caught up in the ails of their struggles and guilt and shame that they cannot see the light? Or, fail to know, even as they see death and despair and depression all around, that this is temporary and He is coming again?
A-ha moments are priceless. Gifts.
God makes us ask ourselves questions most often when He intends to unravel them. He gives us needs that He alone can quench, and awakens spaces and empty places that He alone will fulfill. Any state of haze that rises up in you and me is always fertile ground for a spiritual ripening, leading to a new birth – a place of an ‘a-ha’ moment. Lightening flashes.
His Holy sparks expand from the east to the west; and God suddenly shows up in the middle of your mess.
Right there, in that spark-filled place, we get a glimpse of His coming. Eternity is coming.
Allow a-ha moments.
