“I know that You can do anything and no plan of Yours can be thwarted.

I had heard rumors about You, but now my eyes have seen You.” (Job‬ ‭42:2, 5‬ ) HCSB‬‬

Hello, DearOne.

Most of the time, the rules of the big world seem a lil off kilter to me. Red tape bounds like chains. Or, sometimes it works backward and fails to hold the guilty accountable.

Big brother level daunting on one front, then a sudden twist lands us in the land of living totally oblivious. Barriers rise to keep us from getting the thing done that needs to get done.

Sometimes rules work. Sometimes they fail.

Sometimes in failing, they work exactly the way they are supposed to anyway.

I can’t tell you how many times I walk in to a room or a meeting or even sometimes my home and say, ok God, I showed up, it’s your turn now.

I give up.

I’m tired of the fight.

Fear and anger and panic set in like the clouds covering the stars. When we choose to shift at that point, when we allow ourselves to acknowledge Him … ‘His ways are right’ … He takes over.

We are meant to live fully. So, perfect love rises, strong and complete. That’s His way. He powers us to march into pain with eyes and heart wide-open; to stand in the wreckage and know that our light is stronger than the darkness. To know it’s ok to gather courage to risk getting hurt again because the expansion that comes from the process is gain, every time.

Wake up.

Shift for the gain.
