and my salvation –
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold
of my life –
of whom shall I be afraid?
(Ps 27:1)
Dearheart,
Let’s start with getting priorities in place – who does this scripture claim is our stronghold? The _____.
Yes! The LORD!
This doesn’t mean life or this journey will be easy or trouble free, but you don’t have to have any fear. Wipe that one off the table.
It won’t take too much time.
Too much energy.
Too much space.
You have been chosen to be protected on this journey by the Refuge, Himself – your stronghold. He is lifting you high out of reach of the
snakes/stronghold of doubt, of
snakes/stronghold of blindness,
snakes/stronghold of fakes,
snakes/stronghold of satan’s trickery,
snakes/stronghold of unforgiveness of someone who has hurt us,
snakes/stronghold of loss –
anything that consumes your thoughts pretending to be bigger or more powerful than your God.
Satan has a goal of strangling your abundant life.
DearOnes, never lose sight of the protecting stronghold of your Father. You are the apple of His eye.
Get your priorities straight:
‘Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought into the obedience of Christ.’ (2 Cor 10:5)
Wake up.
Bring thoughts under Authority.
Go.
