“Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭12:8-9‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Good morning, Believer.

God Most High prepares the willing heart to remain committed … even if it breaks us away from traditions we have known, breaks us off from the expectations of long-standing routines … He prepares us so He can create in us a brand new thing. Some choose to stay in the brokenness of the known. Have compassion, DearOne.

Even if you don’t know exactly what it is for which you are preparing, prepare anyway.

Know that God Almighty is working whether you see progress or not.

Keep going back to the Word.

Pray and praise without ceasing. When the day comes, your heart will fly open with knowing, and you will stand tall. The Creator will light the way. In your preparation, you will have learned to see Him in the low light. He will supply the gravity you need to remain firm. Do His work, even if it seems insignificant. Even if it is in going back to the well just to hear His voice. Stay faithful and He will provide a certain curious tenacity. Know that as long as you walk this earth, His work will never be complete in you. You’ll be okay here, anyway. You will never totally arrive. But, along the journey, you will create change. And, be changed.

We will nourish others and be nourished by like souls. We will battle with varied opinions and we will experience Him each time we look for Him.

This is why we prepare.

This is why we still stand, even on the days presenting the difficult.

For days like these. Stay faithful.

Wake up.

Prepare.

Go.

Blessed with the crazy notion, the wild-eyed foolishness, and the madcap belief in the simple idea that I might help one to make a decision that makes a difference in the world . . . as stated by Ralph Waldo Emerson’s famous quote…“To know one life breathed easier because you lived, this is to have succeeded.” I get to use my small business background as a former owner of a Flower Shop and Hallmark Store and former co-owner of Disability Specialists, LLC, to help folks build dreams. I hold a M.Ed with emphasis on Adult Training and Education. I’d love to get my Doctorate in Educational Leadership . . . someday. My work centers on the belief that inside each of us lives a mesmerizing soul waiting to be revealed. Every day we can choose to trust the magic of our calling and take those unconventional moves to unlock an enchanted journey. I serve as Business and Industry Director and Business Development Services Coordinator at Canadian Valley Technology Center in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
