“…Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger in the dirt. They kept at him, badgering him. He straightened up and said, “The sinless one among you, go first: Throw the stone.” Bending down again, he wrote some more in the dirt. Hearing that, they walked away, one after another, beginning with the oldest. The woman was left alone. Jesus stood up and spoke to her. “Woman, where are they? Does no one condemn you?”
“No one, Master.” “Neither do I,” said Jesus. “Go on your way. From now on, don’t sin.””
John 8:9-11 MSG
Good morning, ForgivenOne,
To what pain are you holding too white-knuckles tightly? Consider your healing.
Forgiveness is a deeply intense acceptance of the fullness of your Savior’s power in your life.
Forgiveness is a totally profound acceptance that we are ‘all love’ in the eyes of our Father. You. Me. Even the one who has hurt you. Maimed your heart. Told lies about you. Abused you. Forgiveness.
Forgiveness is honoring the light of the Holy Spirit in ourselves and in the children of God Most High.
Forgiveness is the moment we let His unfailing love be our source of power. Source of life. Source of life … source of life.
Forgiveness is the “welcome home” to His peace. It is the innermost vision that ‘God’s got this’ for you. The more pain, the more He’s working on your behalf.
Forgiveness is a celebration. Angels dance with delight.
Forgiveness is recalling our innocence. It is loving ourselves enough not to accept bad behavior.
Forgiveness is when someone else’s errors and the pain they brought no longer affect our happiness.
Forgiveness is opening – wide open – further still – to my Father’s love that is ever present. Further still.
Forgiveness neutralizes the poison left within and initiates healing.
Forgiveness reminds us that even when we get hurt, it is temporary. When we forgive, we move on.
We choose to be shifted when we accept the Creator’s touch … allowing ourselves to feel Him … as His hands cradle a tear-stained face. His gaze transforms, and soothes with love … in its purest state. He says, “No hurt can ever tarnish your soul, My child. That belongs to Me alone.”
Yes, it does … His gaze transforms.
Wake up.
Choose. Feel His gaze.
