Jan. 21, 2016 send the blessing … Phil 4:19

Mornin’ DearSoul,

Who hasn’t been pained. Scarred. Rejected. Passed over. Unappreciated.
Then, once we unwind our spirit and ego from the sting, now and again we can choose to send out, to the tormenter, a blessing. Yes, we can choose to send a blessing, anyway.

Ok. This hurt. Even shattered. Move along now. You can’t change the dark and vacant ones; that’s not your job. Wish them well. Love them where they’re at. And, even though you’d never share a moment or join forces with that person ever again, the blessing you grant is heartfelt.

How deep does the river in your canyon-heart go?

This, DearOne, this is how you send a blessing of healing:

God’s love is transformational. Christ’s love unshackles even the dark and blank and meanest and emptiest of hearts. He sets freedom in motion.

Send them a blessing as if you had the power to make all their dreams come true; as if every peace you extend to them is a certainty because you have the power to make it so. Because, with your relationship to Christ, He brings more power to them than you will ever fathom.

Send out a blessing of healing to their future. Send them unconditional love, extraordinary love – here is where you and I get to be the personal angels,

bestowing treasures,

and freedoms,

and fulfillments,

and peace on them

– we have unlimited reserves of God’s love to send into their future … so, it will be waiting on them when they get there. And, from your example and my example and our faith, they’re learning there is more of HIM available when they get there, too. Phil 4:19 “my God will supply ALL.’

Yes, there’s more where that came from.

This kind of loving to the one who has caused bitterness can be piercing. You will likely have to face your own grief and dejection as you bless another’s chasm to be lifted. You will also have to nod to your connection to them. And, that is hard when you’ve chosen to move on. Hard like a blast of mace to your face. Like a heart attack. Your throat may burn.
As you release the blessing toward them, you will transfer acid resentment into no less than Holy alteration. Spiritual shift. Revolution.

Baby, you’ve got to engage in focused training for this kind of deep loving. Because, on the other side is where your freedom lies. That is where peace flows endlessly. Love wins.

If you so choose.
Wake up.

Choose. Send the blessing.
