‘“And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:18 ESV
Good morning, God’s Child,
Life gets tricky. Ice sneaks up, we slip. A left hook sneaks in. Stakeholders move on. The unexpected checks out. You do your very best and souls of the dark-empty turn you into their scapegoat, anyway.
So, DearOne, what will you do when the unthinkable happens?
Grief rises, then the stages play out . . .
-brutal,
-searching,
-just breathe,
-sucker-punch,
-acceptance,
-baby steps,
… they all overlap and rare-up, and replay and settle down again, but always present.
So, you wonder – you ask, “Father, what is this here to teach me? What’s the gift in this new season? Help me identify them. Stay with me. Show me. Grow me. What small change can I make today that will make an impact?”
We surround ourselves with loving people. Positive souls. Smiles. Spirit-filled souls.
Let me invite you, DearOne, to consider this: change is also to be celebrated. If your life was exactly the same ten years from today as it is now, you’d be a puddle. It would not be pretty. Change gives us juice. Adventure. Discovery.
Change gets a bad rap. It is not comfortable. But, the Holy in us is always, ALWAYS, working for our highest good. How about if you could trust Him a little more today, and doubt a little less . . . of life, of others, of yourself? How about if you allow your Creator room to make you uncomfortable so He can deliver sweet gems of insight that are right there, waiting, just beyond your fear, yes, there they are . . . waiting to be seen? His ways are right.
Trust Him in this moment.
Trust His ways.
Wake up.
Allow room.
Go.
