“When God fixed the weight of the wind and limited the water by measure, when He established a limit for the rain and a path for the lightning, He considered wisdom and evaluated it; He established it and examined it.” Job 28:25-27 HCSB
Hello, DearHeart,
Growing up here in Oklahoma, I thought there were about 37 seasons. Nighttime season, shade tree season, thunderstorms shaking leaves, dry wood campfire, bending tree, green tree season, locust in the trees season, firefly season, crying trees season, shimmering tree season, chirping wild, pink fuzzy flower blooming tree season (excellent for garnishing mud-pies). I especially loved seasons of snow sparkling like diamonds across the field. Any kind of snow, really – steaming snow, squeak when you walk snow, dirty snow, snow you had to kick your heel down into for traction so you could walk.
We see, we know, we learn of God’s design around us … each day arrives and delivers a new season with personality of its own. Wisdom of its own. As each unfolds, His grace surrounds, for when we ask, our Father, Creator, He is faithful to plant wisdom into our soul. Like the seasons that are sometimes kind and human, other times wildishly changing, all of them, any of them lead with purpose … they lead us to our soul home.
Wake up.
Embrace today’s season. Fresh wisdom.
Go.
