“Yes, grass withers and flowers fade, but the Word of our God endures for ever.” … go up on a high mountain and proclaim the good news! Call out with a loud voice, Zion; announce the good news! Speak out and do not be afraid. Tell the towns of Judah that their God is coming!” Isaiah 40:8-9 GNB
Good morning, God’s Child,
So much changes in life. Just when you think you’re secure you can almost count on some ripple to shake you to the core.
Life is constantly moving.
The Life, the Truth, and the Way do not change from summer to fall, fall to winter, winter to spring, spring to summer. His Word doesn’t say one thing today and another 90 days later. It always shows me who The God of the Universe is, and who I am because of Him. I am His.
When searching for Him in every ripple, you will find Him. That’s His way. His Word is TRUTH. And, His Word leads His child who seeks Him. Every single time. Stay the course. No matter what trial and tragedy comes, follow hard.
Your God is coming.

“O Lord, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it.” Psalm 139:1-6 ESV Good Morning, WiseOne,
Have you looked into the eyes of a child lately? Really, looked?
Just as the Creator of the Universe knitted together his son Jesus to fit into the womb of Mary, He created you and I the same way. He says, “My child, I can’t not love you.”
As I was looking at the toddler and baby faces of my great nieces and nephew last weekend, it occurred to me that our Maker sets us up to be born with two forces -every lens we need to see who we really are: we are His … born with … -the wild and ever-young force of imagination, and -the ancient elder force of instinct.
There is deep wisdom in the eyes of a child – a wise one which holds boundaries and carries the heart of one with ancient vision – old while young, and young while old.
Let us, today, hold tightly to the wisdom and traditions of old, and replenish Christmas center: our Savior, Christ our King. Savior. May our Lord throw us into living wildly and wisely here during this Holy season – held in Holy grasp within life’s travails and triumphs.
