‘And one called to another: Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Hosts; His glory fills the whole earth.’ (Isaiah 6:3 HCSB)
Good morning, BeautifulSoul.
Spending time in a little remote place, mountains, wilderness, or a simple country road, places where neighbors are further away than a holler, gives the solitude of one’s heart choices. Drastic choices. Silence can take you to a new depth of lonely, or to a new playground of connection to the Ancient of Days.
Have you set aside quiet?
Can you even get there?
Quieting the pace of the mind can help us find eternity in the present moment. There is an inner child at work in all of us, curious, full of the kind of wonder that comes with peering curiously into still, deep water. When the pause is allowed, tiny steps move us forward where we can choose to reach for intense partnership with the Creator, rather than let intellect or reasoning push us back to the never-ending confinement of the to-do list.
SpiritChild, pause.
Breathe in the Holy.
Give yourself permission to sit with your Savior for a while.
Your choice. Permission granted.
Wake up.
Pause.
Go.
