‘God — He clothes me with strength and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer and sets me securely on the heights. He trains my hands for war; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You have given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand upholds me, and Your humility exalts me. You widen a place beneath me for my steps, and my ankles do not give way.’ (Psalms 18:32-36 HCSB)
Good morning God’s Army,
My mind has been shifted toward our protectors lately. The ones safeguarding overseas, on our borders, on our homeland soil, those in training, those defending in our towns, in our homes – they are everywhere.
When our Maker guides those with knight-souls into a higher calling to defend, they become a new creation-an amazing force. God gives each one of these a heart drum. Low in voice, the inner drum calls in our Creator’s special forces to expand them while in service.
Pray with me for our enforcers. This is not a special weekend to simply relax. It is a time to step out of our own place of security to remember those who have given and to those in current service to protect. And, to the trainees who have made a fresh commitment to serve. May they know they are supported through our prayers, may they feel the thrumming of the Holy Spirit, as he fills them with His Guardian strength, bursts with it, brims over from it.
Wake up.
Notice those near and far in service on our behalf. 🙏🏽
Go.
