‘He comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction, through the comfort we ourselves receive from God.’ (2 Corinthians 1:4 HCSB)
Good morning, CourageousOne,
This is a season of noticing the Creator’s holiness. At least for me it is. It reminds me of seeing life through many different apertures on my camera … altering the filters, removing them, replacing them, and constantly gaining compassionate perspective to be able to stand with courage to see without looking away or ducking out on the hurting ones. All the while, reminding myself and others that God’s got a plan. So, today, when the emotional vampires call, allow the God of the Angel Armies to unleash and remind the life-sucking spirits that you won’t be bound to a box. That would be contrary to the Source of God’s wild power in you. Be filled to turn the foes upside down. Be filled and give hope to the badgering and hurting one. Be filled and chase the nay-sayer into the next world. Because, we don’t see the whole picture, only our part. We don’t have to know today how this all ends. And, that is why our work here is a lifelong, ongoing process…with hope.
