‘The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.’ (Zephaniah 3:17 ESV)
A fresh mornin’ to ya, RestoredOne!
Occasionally, I hear the saying, “everyone you meet is facing a tough battle.” That’s always a wake-up reminder to me. Having spent a number of years trying to drag my sorry soul behind Jesus, I’ve discovered a treasure of surprising things. I’ve found that some believers, in spite of doing all the right things, still face difficulty and disappoints on their journey. They press on … not because they hope that sooner or later good things will turn the tide, but because they believe that God Most High is good and that He loves them and is working the good into their earthling life.
Dearheart, let Christ love you today. Curl up into the arms of the Holy Spirit. Tell Him you need Him.
Until you let Him serve you at your point of need, you will never be free to serve others. Souls are at stake. You must invite Him into your hurting places. Go.
