May 13, 2014 repeat

‘“Keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep searching, and you will find. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who searches finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.’ Matthew 7:7, 8

Good morning, Angelheart,
You know, in light of God’s mysterious ways, our people must learn to live on prayer if we are to survive. Material things tend to entice and beckon and lure us away from what is most valuable. The prayer that gets repeated because it calls us out from the squirrel race turning in the cage, is the prayer that brings God Most High’s will for us into being. When we act, the prayer becomes reality, even when we don’t yet see it ourselves. Cool, unlying life rushes into it every time it gets repeated. New power releases into God’s plan – the old falls down and we stomp our feet with new power.
What are you praying for, Beloved?
Over and over, each time you request, you are one breath closer to being Divinely filled.
Ask again.

May 12, 2014 untied

‘that they may have all the riches of assured understanding and have the knowledge of God’s mystery — Christ. All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Him.’ (Colossians 2:2, 3 HCSB)

Mornin’ God’s Child!
Growing up, I wanted the faith that others had. In the fires of life, I learned to lean on my own relationship with the Maker of the Stars. From the times my heart felt as if it was lying in puddles of glass, my faith grew into a place of not only believing in Him, but knowing Him.
Skin-to skin.
He is my Father.
My Maker.
My Creator, and He is still remodeling me.
DearOne, think of Him – not in ways you’ve been taught, but set aside all blinders so you can see your Savior with your own eyes. Change your ‘regular’ view of Him, look full-in instead of at His shadow on the fringes. He comes in many shapes and ways and disguises … hidden, right out in the open. And, when you look, you will know Him by His presence in every way. When you look for Him, His pull will untie you from living through the faith of others, and into relationship of your very own.
I am praying strength into your heart and your hands – inspiration and daring to see Him. I am praying for you to know Him.

‘So we have the prophetic word strongly confirmed. You will do well to pay attention to it, as to a lamp shining in a dismal place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.’ 2 Peter 1:19

Good mornin’ Sunshine!
A beautiful layer of dew has settled over the homeplace this morn. It is still. It is clean. Pasture is growing. Glory!
God’s earth is filled with unmarked shrines – holy places that exist all around and within the ordinary of every day. By noticing the holy in these places, we are enhancing our experience with our Creator. DearHeart, every leaf of every tree, every petal of the native Indian-blanket wildflower, every sun-struck rock stands out with clarity when you choose to actively notice. In His light, the existence of life itself can strike you suddenly, fresh and calming. And, with each movement of the sun, the entire stage setting for His creation is new – something never seen before.
Today is a new day.
Your walk begins anew here. Look around as if noticing Him for the first time in His Creation.

‘From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised!’ Psalm 113:3

My drive from home to anywhere is a fresh reminder of ‘everything’ praising. Two of the finest benefits of living a far cry from anyplace are 1) loaded talk-time with your loves (on the flip-side, it can also be loaded lecture time or loaded silence! Lol), and 2) taking in the expanse of God’s living nature landscape. I think I’ve mentioned the lamas that stand, still as statues, on a sand-rock bluff near Chickasha Lake. Standing at attention – still as stone as if they must – while every cell … every ounce of their inner being is trembling in ecstatic praise of the Creator with each new sunrise.
I. Love. That.
Glorious reminders in every direction, every day that we are placed. We are held. We are set-apart, because He paid the price for us.
Wake up.
Look up.
Take Him in.
Share Him.
Go to bed.

May 6, 2014 bridges

‘For God has not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but one of power, love, and sound judgment.’ 2 Timothy 1:7

Hello PowerSoul!
The Holy Spirit loves the one He inhabits.

Soak there a moment.

He adds muscle to the natural gifts He gave us, and He adds muscle to the places we are lacking, but must use to free our gifts. The more we learn to call up the power of the Spirit, the more a bridge is built from the whirling whirlwinds and dust devils that uncertainty scatters. His Holy Spirit brings a fierce attitude and tremendous energy to the places unexplored. He pushes us up to resurface with a blessing of strength and action and determination.
He is the power that balances us, SweetHeart.
Call on Him.
Live right there.

May 5, 2014 flock

‘Don’t be afraid, little flock, because your Father delights to give you the kingdom.’ Luke 12:32
Good morn’ little flock!
Bro. Matt said “last week I was BLOWN AWAY by this verse!” Very often the Creator reveals ‘new’ in the ordinary, and the impact of the ‘ah-ha’ moment simply leaves you BLOWN AWAY!
DearHeart, the upcoming trials and to-do list of the upcoming week always seems heavy on Monday morning. At least, to me it does. The heaviness, however, carries much magnitude for the soul,
for the spirit,
for the heart,
for the psyche.
Seeing Father God as DELIGHTING in giving us His kingdom is light-shedding. It allows us to use the magnifying glass of the Holy and truly see through the earthling stressors to the things formerly unseen. Then, SweetOne, we are more open to the road that is holy, sacred, and satisfying, for we look with eyes like His that can see both worlds.
Wake up.
Press on.
Go to bed.

May 2, 2014 breathing

‘Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.’ Psalm 150:6

Hello StillSoul,
On a quiet day, when I’m right with my Creator, I can almost hear Him breathing with me.
To practice living in the Holy Spirit is to bring Him into every aspect of life, Sweetheart. It’s more than having an occasional dip into the chocolate.
It is active participation.
It is actively creating the culture while making His presence your priority.
DearOne, it is time. Clean house in your heart and mind. Take the fear and turmoil and the shackles to the dump, BelovedOne. Leave them there.
Create with Him the space where He moves in you with every beat.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

May 1, 2014 ‘tude

Inquiring minds want to know, SpiritWarrior:
What have you done to show you believe in this promise? …

‘For it is God who is working in you, enabling you both to desire and to work out His good purpose.’ Philippians 2:13

One of the main reasons I love my folks so much is that they view the world with tolerance, and understanding, and acceptance. Even in crisis, problems large and small, they’ve never adopted the habit of getting bent out of shape over issues that are out of their control.
They’ve taught us that sometimes, there are no easy solutions, there are some things we can’t change. It’s God’s business.
They’ve taught us to do all we can to make it right to take the pressure off of ourselves, then move on.
DearOne, if Jesus were directing you, in the same way His mother, Mary, were confronting Him, what challenge might He bring to you with the expectation that you would follow with the right attitude?
Wake up.
Adjust your attitude.
Move on.
