Good morning.
The coyotes down on the creek are making noise this morning. Some kind of conflict is happening down there. Cattle are bawling. Dogs are barking. Birds are on edge. They’ve got all the creatures stirred up here.
How about you, DearOne? Any conflict?
Sometimes, I’ve got to search deeper…. how am I glorifying God Most High in my actions?
In my days?
In my hours?
In my minutes?
You know, Darlingheart, life has many fences that divide and separate. Not the barbed-wire kind, but the personal kind – the kind that keep us meddling and conniving and bitterly hurting each other. Why do we do that?
What’s right is to walk in love. What’s right is to act in forgiveness.
Anytime you get agitated with another it is not their problem, it is yours. It is all about you.
Their actions can only hurt your heart because of your own spot of bitterness. At some point, you’ve decided to let the enemy rule a piece of you with hate. What grudge in you do you need to hand back over to your Creator?
Your idol time?
Your loose lips?
Your judgmental eyes?
What will you do to hand the bitter over to Love?
Yeah. Me too.
‘At the same time, they also learn to be idle, going from house to house; they are not only idle, but are also gossips and busybodies, saying things they shouldn’t say.’ 1 Timothy 5:13
