LovelyOne, this is Labor Day. Do you have fancy plans? Or, busy plans? Or, party plans? Or no plans?
Ask yourself, what does my heart need? Ask for wisdom and courage from the Spirit to step into the direction He has for you. Studying your plans is a good thing. Taking responsibility for your plans is stellar! It is called “being intentional”; and we all need that reminder sometimes.
Yesterday, my youth group wrote, in 5 words or less, one burden or fear they are carrying. Their ages are 12-19. We then began letting Father God address each burden my chickees are carrying by looking up specific scripture for very real, very heavy, burdens. (Most growns ups don’t have nuthin’ on the pressures our youth are wielding.)
In your plans today, is there a heavy place that you need Father God to pick up for you? He has your big-picture future in mind and He has your peace-track to get you there.
Jesus said:
“Come to Me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. All of you, take up My yoke and learn from Me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for yourselves. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
Do you need help finding Him in your struggle at hand? I’d be thrilled to help. Text me, call me, email me.
