‘Then Moses said, “Please, let me see Your glory.”’ (Exodus 33:18 HCSB)
Gentleheart, how big are your hopes and dreams?
Moses’ were huge. And, because he had relationship – an active prayer life – tight and threaded into Father God, nothing was too big for Moses to ask.
If you are spending time with Him, seeking Him, trusting His ways, have you boldly asked your Maker for the impossible? Or, is it too much to ask in your frail mind? Do you think you may be too ordinary and small to ask? Is the possibility too big for even your mind to digest?
In my mind, I can see us finally reaching eternity, and taking a slow gasp with the thought:
“Ohhh. ” (Wide-eyed, blown away, breathless….
taking in all that our human eyes can not even begin to fathom).
“Ohh. I should have asked just a little bit bigger”.
Focus in your prayer life DearOne.
‘But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, compliant, full of mercy.’ (James 3:17 HCSB)
Good morning, Peacemaker.
Anxiety. It was born when we were. And, it will be with us on our deathbed. Well now, that’s a sombering thought this morn, isn’t it?
So, will you let anxiety rule your life and your relationships? Or, will you allow the Spirit in, so you can master it?
For those who refuse the Holy Spirit’s all-consuming presence, anxiety will cause life to be a daily nightmare. The very things they should be thankful for become a curse in every hour.
Sweetheart, I have tried and tried to understand one’s hard-hearted refusal to accept Christ as Lord and Savior – and I just don’t get it. Why would anyone turn away peace? Why would they choose anxiety to be the norm? Why would they choose to let anxiety rule over love in their closest relationships?
Lots of whys this morning. Lots of questions without answers.
There is only one thing to do.
Pray circles around them. Release them to Father God without judging them – that’s God’s job. Keep your heart right with The Almighty, and allow Him to do the necessary heart-work in others.
Get your judgmental ego out of God’s way.
Go to bed.
‘Now I praise you because you always remember me and keep the traditions just as I delivered them to you.’ 1 Corinthians 11:2
Come alive, StrongChild!
We thrive because of where we have come from, good or bad … don’t you love the stories that begin with, ‘I remember …’? They are filled with keeping traditions alive. They connect us. Somehow, they unearth the hidden, and make transparent the old, the dusty, the silt-covered. They reveal new truth.
Clear and ragged insight is a must for God-given friendships. The other must is another’s commitment to hear it with a single-minded appetite to treasure the memory.
Human friendship with each other, and the Holy, is most nurturing, bringing out the real, shaking us slightly, ensuring that our roots grow deep for those who follow.
Go to bed.
‘But his wife looked back and became a pillar of salt. (Genesis 19:26 HCSB)
Good morning, Delightfulness!
Full for the taking, this new day. So, tell me Beloved, will you choose to grab on to the fresh miracles in the hours ahead? Or, will you hang tangled so tightly in thoughts of yesteryear that you trap down?
God Most High made this brain-tool in us that is phenomenal. It is true, our choices impact our tomorrow. Our lives go in the direction of our thoughts.
Lot’s wife blew it – The Almighty was moving her to a new place of victory; she just had to look back at her trap one more time. She was ruined.
The past is done. Accept that.
Make a pact with yourself to release the regrets of your yesterdays, and expand your best laid plans for tomorrow.
Now expand the plan again.
And, bigger still- use the victory-power tool.
Start with a simple prayer.
Start with your tender desire to grow closer to The Almighty and away from the trash of a tattered past … yes, that’s it, Sweetheart …
Start by stepping away from stagnant.
Baby-steps give steroids to God’s victories traveling your way.
Expand your faith.
Go to bed.
Hello Freedom Fighter!
‘Remember the prisoners, as though you were in prison with them, and the mistreated, as though you yourselves were suffering bodily.’ (Hebrews 13:3 HCSB)
Prisons have been on my mind lately, Friend. (Side note, it really irks me to keep thinking about things I don’t want to think about. Especially when thinking about them shakes up my dark, and bitter places – the places I need the most work. Grrr)
Steel bars. Razor wire. Fences. Cells. Limits … limits … self-imposed limits. Prisons. Many kinds. Many ways …. some have scowls and harsh ways; there are kinds we sign on the dotted line; kinds with parking lots and bells and copy rooms, kinds from careless words of those with whom we live, and those we don’t, that we take on as truth.
Darlingheart, no matter where – Father God has you and me in our growing place. Even in prisons, He gives us the tools to grow and go free.
His winds, when we choose to feel Him touch our face, lifts from the deepest chains, our love, our heart, our dreams, our spirit, our soul … He draws us from our prison to freedom … on His Holy wings.
‘Mighty waters cannot extinguish love; rivers cannot sweep it away. If a man were to give all his wealth for love, it would be utterly scorned.’ (Song of Songs 8:7 HCSB)
Good morning, Beloved …
Uncontrollable. Free. It’s not an exchange. It’s an act of faith. Love.
Its strange. It can’t be a learned event, because when Father God brings it in, we forget everything we were taught about it anyway. The choice is made, all alone in the deep places, to let love come close, or turn it away.
There is not a word that can explain it, only a knowing. The same way silence of simply knowing no words need to be said when a deer suddenly still, turns slowly and locks eyes with you – frozen in time. Even your bones electrify with thrill.
Father God’s gift of love lavishes us through Him. And, very often, DearOne, He sends it to you through others. When you allow yourself to put it on, sometimes what you wear, you become. And, often, what you become radiates outside of your heart and pulls others to Him.
Sweetheart, what will you do with love today?
‘All bitterness, anger and wrath, shouting and slander must be removed from you, along with all malice. And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.’ (Ephesians 4:31, 32 HCSB)
Your words define your heart DearOne.
What is coming from the words you say and the tone with which you say them? Body-check your body-language Chickee. Words expressed, verbally or by posture, to one of God’s own (that would be any earthling) MUST first be
half-drowned in His wisdom.
As long as we live in skin, our ride through our days will be brutal enough. Nobody needs bitter-hate-filled-complaining-whining-anger driven-venom-ridden wrath chasing them down and killing their love stock. Slurs, and slangs, and sarcastic slices are love killers.
There’s only so much in their love tank to begin with. Nobody needs anger-driven motives trying to wring the life out of them.
Be very careful with how you address the soul of your people. They can easily choose not to be your people any longer; then your love-tank and your days will be dark-empty, long and lonely.
The words of ones mouth reflect the joy or the doom of the heart. What are your words saying about you?
Treat others as if you were speaking to Christ.
That’ll make you swirl your words into a mantle of stars before they fall off your tongue.
Go to bed.
‘He said to Him, “Please, Lord, how can I deliver Israel? Look, my family is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the youngest in my father’s house.”
“But I will be with you,” the Lord said to him.’
(Judges 6:15, 16 HCSB)
Well hello friend!
You are kinda a big deal you know. Gideon was a farmer, plain and simple. And, He was chosen for a purpose. Just like you. Get this: where you came from
when Father God calls.
There are people in your life that will lay a hand on your shoulder and see something in you that you can not see. That’s ok Dearheart, you aren’t even supposed to see it – that is where Father God does His miraculous in you – you trust, he leads you to the battle and through the battle and He washes you in ferocious and tender compassion so you can be filled to trembling with His glory.
Do you want that SweetOne?
It is worth ALL the risk to go there.
Ditch the excuses.
‘He gives the Spirit without measure.’ (John 3:34 HCSB)
Full and overflowing Spirit.
Today’s thoughts, you may choose to forward … or simply soak in yourself. . . because, you know SweetOne, Father God sets before us the greatest choice in life:
Forever and ever and ever is no one else’s responsibility … only yours. This one is yours alone with God Most High.
His pursuit for you is red-hot; and His desire is your red-hot passion for Him in return.
Great is your reward.
His Spirit without measure.
It begins today.
Yours for the taking… Spirit without measure … ABC easy:
A – Admit
Admit to God that you are a sinner. Turn away from your sin. ‘For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.’ Romans 3:23
B – Believe
Believe that Jesus is God’s Son and accept God’s gift of forgiveness from sin. ‘While we were sinners, Christ died for us.’ Romans 5:8
C – Confess
Confess your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. ‘If you will confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.’ Romans 10:9
Will you receive your eternity through Jesus Christ right now?
(Receive Him as Lord and Savior.)
Here’s how to make that happen sweetheart, simply pray:
Dear God, I am sorry for my sins.
I believe Jesus died on the cross for my sins. Please forgive me.
I ask Jesus to come into my life to be my Savior and Lord.
Thank You for loving me and saving me from my sins.
In Jesus Name,
If you prayed this prayer,
The Bible says…
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13
I’d love to know if you joined the Spirit, today by saying this prayer.
You know how to get ahold of me.
Welcome to the eternity family… you are going to love life in Him like crazy! Spirit without measure!
“The wind blows where it pleases, and you hear its sound, but you don’t know where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” (John 3:8 HCSB)
Good morning BelovedSoul-
The Father’s Spirit unchains. It releases fresh, clean healing… you don’t know where it comes from or where it is going. It unravels the mother load of tangled, worn, ill-driven, clobs of heaviness. Yes, BeautifulOne, into you the Holy Spirit calls out the worn and the weary places … and, without blemish, Father God, Abba, Father sprays away the tired and lays down love.
Listen, Angelheart … Peace … Mercy … Silence … Stillness … Trust.
The seed of His very Spirit has the ability to transform in an instant. You must choose to hear Him. In massive impulse He releases you into Divine will, His peace, His witness – choose to hear SweetOne.
