‘But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, compliant, full of mercy.’ (James 3:17 HCSB)
Good morning, Peacemaker.
Anxiety. It was born when we were. And, it will be with us on our deathbed. Well now, that’s a sombering thought this morn, isn’t it?
So, will you let anxiety rule your life and your relationships? Or, will you allow the Spirit in, so you can master it?
For those who refuse the Holy Spirit’s all-consuming presence, anxiety will cause life to be a daily nightmare. The very things they should be thankful for become a curse in every hour.
Sweetheart, I have tried and tried to understand one’s hard-hearted refusal to accept Christ as Lord and Savior – and I just don’t get it. Why would anyone turn away peace? Why would they choose anxiety to be the norm? Why would they choose to let anxiety rule over love in their closest relationships?
Lots of whys this morning. Lots of questions without answers.
There is only one thing to do.
Pray circles around them. Release them to Father God without judging them – that’s God’s job. Keep your heart right with The Almighty, and allow Him to do the necessary heart-work in others.
Wake up.
Pray circles.
Get your judgmental ego out of God’s way.
Go to bed.
