‘Mighty waters cannot extinguish love; rivers cannot sweep it away. If a man were to give all his wealth for love, it would be utterly scorned.’ (Song of Songs 8:7 HCSB)
Good morning, Beloved …
Uncontrollable. Free. It’s not an exchange. It’s an act of faith. Love.
Its strange. It can’t be a learned event, because when Father God brings it in, we forget everything we were taught about it anyway. The choice is made, all alone in the deep places, to let love come close, or turn it away.
There is not a word that can explain it, only a knowing. The same way silence of simply knowing no words need to be said when a deer suddenly still, turns slowly and locks eyes with you – frozen in time. Even your bones electrify with thrill.
Father God’s gift of love lavishes us through Him. And, very often, DearOne, He sends it to you through others. When you allow yourself to put it on, sometimes what you wear, you become. And, often, what you become radiates outside of your heart and pulls others to Him.
Sweetheart, what will you do with love today?
