‘All bitterness, anger and wrath, shouting and slander must be removed from you, along with all malice. And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.’ (Ephesians 4:31, 32 HCSB)
Your words define your heart DearOne.
What is coming from the words you say and the tone with which you say them? Body-check your body-language Chickee. Words expressed, verbally or by posture, to one of God’s own (that would be any earthling) MUST first be
seasoned,
dunked,
soaked,
drenched, and
half-drowned in His wisdom.
As long as we live in skin, our ride through our days will be brutal enough. Nobody needs bitter-hate-filled-complaining-whining-anger driven-venom-ridden wrath chasing them down and killing their love stock. Slurs, and slangs, and sarcastic slices are love killers.
Be careful.
There’s only so much in their love tank to begin with. Nobody needs anger-driven motives trying to wring the life out of them.
Be very careful with how you address the soul of your people. They can easily choose not to be your people any longer; then your love-tank and your days will be dark-empty, long and lonely.
The words of ones mouth reflect the joy or the doom of the heart. What are your words saying about you?
Treat others as if you were speaking to Christ.
That’ll make you swirl your words into a mantle of stars before they fall off your tongue.
Wake up.
Be kind.
Go to bed.
Oh My! Thanks for the reminder!
