Good morning Dearheart!
With every new challenge, a discovery is made about the dark places – the lazy places – the places deep within that need attention. A shift begins. A rotation. Even if barely noticed, we crank and pull and get busy. It is very much like a river that overflows its banks, blasts away the dusty places, then retreats, leaving behind the shiny new surface from which new growth emerges. Fresh places. New eyes.
‘ I will be with you when you pass through the waters, and ⌊when you pass⌋ through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. You will not be scorched when you walk through the fire, and the flame will not burn you. For I the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, and your Savior,’ (Isaiah 43:2, 3 HCSB)
I’m a new blogger. The WordPress newbie instructions said to find other blogs to follow…the moment I started reading your words, I knew your blog would be one I should follow (my first). I’m tired of American Christianity, tired of religion, tired of having to remind people that God is not a US citizen….and that we have made the whole concept of religion waaaaaaay more complicated and dualistic than ever intended. I look forward to reading your posts. Namaste.
