Good morning Beautiful One!
Lately (it happens around Graduation-time every year), I have been knee deep in thought about friendship. Life demands we collect them. New challenges and struggles and new soul places often throw in the unexpected: the hidden gift of another soul who appears just in time to simply walk alongside.
Father God sends them in all kinds of ways. Some only present themselves for our moment of need, and disappear as soon as the ink dries. Some stick around. They bless-down hard by traveling with long and loyal passion. They knit their days into yours and feel the heartbeat of your struggles, of the storms, and of the freedom of open road blue skies. We need both kinds.
The God of the Universe has planned and placed your people. As your eyes comb across the soul-gifts that lace into your day, let their presence soak you with thankfulness. Let Father God hear your praise for His work in your people!
‘Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their efforts. For if either falls, his companion can lift him up.’ (Ecclesiastes 4:9, 10 HCSB)
