Good morning Darlingheart!
Things and stuff can sure get in the way. It jumbles and messes with your head. It crowds. It multiplies and is on a mission to squeeze out God Most High.
Ever seen the show “Hoarders”? Stuff consumes people. I was looking at pictures of an upcoming estate auction and wondered what kind of intriguing life that family must have lived. Exotic pieces, extreme hats and feathers, chandeliers, oriental dishes, china, African mementoes, spanish figurines. Obviously well traveled, obvious wealth. I wonder if the things and stuff had squeezed Father God out of their lives or if it had allowed them bridges to witness, sharing His Glory?
What about your stuff Dearheart? What about your current “wants”? With every cent, every time you lay down a dime – be mindful of the purchase … Is it junk? Or does it honor? Does it share Him, or squeeze Him out?
Oooo. Ouch. I stepped on my own toes today.
Father, in the Holy name of Jesus Christ, I claim mindfulness over my spending.
And, I pray Sweetheart, that you will have mindfulness and spending clarity, and that God Most High will restore in you every part of His Spirit that has been pushed away by stuff! Amen!
‘Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wants to come with Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life because of Me will find it.’ (Matthew 16:24, 25 HCSB)
Excellent clouds – excellent day in store Beloved! Hello!
I like peace.
Sort of like, I like nice.
What kind of people do you prefer DearOne?
Jesus had so many parts to His personality, he was kind and loving, as we’ d expect… but, being human he got edgy sometimes,
Mad!? Why, yes!
Sarcastic? Mmm, yes, He had His moments!
Stubborn? You bet!
His difference was that each attitude was dripping in absolute love for you and me. His sold-out love trumped every action every time.
Nice is delightful to deal with, especially during awful days. Sometimes though, love pushes nice over and gets tough. Sometimes it has to.
When you choose to love, you choose to suffer. Life is not all honey without any bees … and getting to peace sometimes takes you and me through every action Jesus used.
Be bold Beloved.
Keep stepping out there in love … even when it’s not at all comfortable. Sometimes, peace takes the long road. But, it will be worth it.
‘diligently keeping the unity of the Spirit with the peace that binds ⌊us⌋.’ (Ephesians 4:3 HCSB)
Wonderful rainy-wet morn to ya SoulChild!
Mmmm-rain always washes away the yuck-parched places, exposing a fresh, newness of mind, mood, and attitude. Love, love, love its magic. Love it!
Father God knows when you and me are at the end of the line. And, He uses that place to expose a fresh, new tough place in us that absorbs us into a deeper-close with Him. Deeper-close glows us out there a bit brighter. And, every time He is lifted up in your tough days, all men are drawn to Him.
You may not notice from their blank eyes and dismal silence, from their harsh words or hurtful tones. That’s ok. God is doing a work that you and me don’t have to know about. That’s their deal. Your deal and my deal is to stay focused – eyes locked into His …unwavering laser focus. In that focus – every kindness reflects the love of the Creator – He does His transforming work there. On others and on you and me.
Press on Beloved.
‘For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with goodness, goodness with knowledge, knowledge with
self-control with endurance,
endurance with godliness,
godliness with brotherly affection,
and brotherly affection with love.
For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they will keep you from being
in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.’ (2 Peter 1:5-8 HCSB)
Good morning Beautiful One!
He is unstoppable by any earthly force, you know. Unstoppable. His Spirit goes to work in us, delivered straight from the throne of the Most High. As His Spirit speaks, Holy leaks between the worlds of the heavens and earth, from the throne of The Almighty, where the Son speaks to Him on our behalf, straight into us – where faith goes into action
How fond are you of mystery? How willing are you Sweetheart, to take the quantum leap that faith requires? When you choose to trust His ways – to place all your hope in His whisper to you, the effect is startling, and penetrating in an uncommonly meaningful way.
‘keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that lay before Him endured a cross and despised the shame and has sat down at the right hand of God’s throne.’ (Hebrews 12:2 HCSB)
