March 18, 2013 release

Good Morning God’s Child!

Life and sacrifice go hand in hand, have you noticed? If you want to live vibrant days- there is always a give and take of sacrifices. If you want to be a lab technician or a dancer or a truck driver or a teacher or an artist or a veterinarian, you must sacrifice time and money and intense concentration to the journey. If Father God has called you to create, you must draw up your most intense visions and give them the nod to release from you.

Listen to the Holy Spirit in you, follow His call Dearheart. Any sacrifice you make to follow His will in your day will be mind-blowingly rewarded.

‘I am teaching you the way of wisdom; I am guiding you on straight paths. When you walk, your steps will not be hindered; when you run, you will not stumble.’ (Proverbs 4:11, 12 HCSB)

Fabulous Friday to ya DearOne!

Just mulling over Father God’s call to those who have been broken to walk as warriors. His tug on us is to take action, to speak of Him and speak for Him in this world.
It is not by accident that you have been called to this day Sweetheart. Even if surrounded by broken bones and covered with bandages and a buried spirit, He, too, was shaken and bruised on the journey.
Be guided by His wisdom today. Hold His hand tightly and bring Him to visible life in you.
No whining.

‘Commit your activities to the Lord, and your plans will be achieved.’ (Proverbs 16:3 HCSB)

March 14, 2013 speak

Hello Shimmering Soul!

God speaks. He loves impossible situations. What is yours? Father God has been speaking to mine and this is ‘day one’ of His cracking open my hard-hearted belief that He can’t fix me there – in that stubborn place.
He has been calling me here, to this day for several years. His call comes in a sudden clarity, a sudden calming, a sudden breaking of a part of me that needed to be broken. (I am scared to death – that i will fail here … again.) And, His call delivers a sudden strength – or strength enough to move.
You too?
It is time.
Name your stubborn place.
Mine is my hideous unhealthy eating habits.
(Oh my gosh – I can’t believe I just wrote that out loud!)
(That is so humiliating.)
(Wait a minute! Not in my house – UNDER MY FOOT SATAN! This is the Almighty’s plan!)
Join me with your stubborn place – whatever it may be.
We are called here.
God’s victory over your impossible place is calling.
Do the work alongside me.
Let’s go.

‘Indeed, your husband is your Maker — His name is Yahweh of Hosts — and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; He is called the God of all the earth. For the Lord has called you,’ (Isaiah 54:5, 6 HCSB)

March 13, 2013 different

Hello Precious Friend!

Are you seeking change? Do you need to surrender something in your life and submit to the authority of Father God’s higher power? I do. Jesus modeled this. He went into isolation for 40 days to give everything in his human life over to the call of his divine destiny. In that time-he became focused and disciplined.
If an area of life isn’t pleasing God, our Spirit speaks and makes us desperate to
change it,
make it right,
get it in line with His will.
Sweetheart, do you have the courage to release your plan for His?
Let’s begin today. Join me.

‘“Do not remember the past events, pay no attention to things of old. Look, I am about to do something new; even now it is coming. Do you not see it? Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.’ (Isaiah 43:18, 19 HCSB)

March 12, 2013 news

Rise and shine BraveHeart!

The bad news is – your choices add up: people you follow, places you choose to go, words you choose to say, the things you choose to do.
The good news: you are not the first person to find yourself in a puddle at the bottom of a pit who chooses to climb tooth and nail out of this desperate dungeon. Ask Father God for His hand. He will help you.

‘Do not rejoice over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will stand up; though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.’ (Micah 7:8 HCSB)

March 11, 2013 distracted

Good day SweetSoul!

Distractions. Luring us from our calling. We are on a quest here, a daily pursuit that feeds our lifelong pursuit BraveOne. Tell me, does the enemy keep you tangled up in distractions? Today, Father God has given you a place to serve Him. Oh, it might seem ordinary to you – but your place, no matter how “typical” to you is ablaze with the Creator’s unique opportunity for you to serve Him there. Will you focus in … Laser beam focus as you go about your driving, welding? As you pick up, clean, cook, paint, sell, run, train, encourage, design, throw, hit, test, garden, write, help? Will you focus in on your call, and not be tempted by the zillion other “cool” things you might do someday? Choose to give 100% to God’s assignment for you today.

‘Go to the ant, you slacker! Observe its ways and become wise. Without leader, administrator, or ruler, it prepares its provisions in summer; it gathers its food during harvest. How long will you stay in bed, you slacker? When will you get up from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the arms to rest, and your poverty will come like a robber, your need, like a bandit.’ (Proverbs 6:6-11 HCSB)

March 10, 2013 cycles

It’s a time change morning my friend!

Rain changes everything. One drop makes a seed sprout.
It brings the withered back to life, lets the iron blade disk the earth, fills a ditch delivering water to the rivers – from the rivers to the fields to grow crops for the farmers – from the farmers to the mills – from the mills to the trucks – from the trucks to the store from the store to your table.
God Almighty thought of everything, didn’t He? Every detail of life, every gathering, every livelihood falls someplace into this cycle. And every cycle feeds from another as it weaves into another.
Oh how He loves you and me!

‘rejoice and be glad in the Lord your God, because He gives you the autumn rain for your vindication. He sends showers for you, both autumn and spring rain as before.’ (Joel 2:23 HCSB)

March 8, 2013 notice

Friday has arrived Beautiful One!

On this very day, the Son of God Most High will appear to millions, maybe even billions of us. No one is untouchable to Him. He will be seen by those who are struggling, trembling through withdrawals of addiction, emptied by the loss of a loved one, singing glory and praise to His name, those doing the most mundane tasks … folding clothes, driving down the road, playing Monopoly.
In any case, just minding their own business, doing their thing, and there He is – breaking through their self-made worlds to secure His presence, His nudge, His flashing neon arrow, His challenge, His intelligence.
When He is noticed, the visit is clear and undeniable. DearHeart, will you pay close attention? Will you seek Him out today? When you do, you will find Him.
Be aware.

‘Then He said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the Lord ’s presence.” At that moment, the Lord passed by. A great and mighty wind was tearing at the mountains and was shattering cliffs before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire there was a voice, a soft whisper. When Elijah heard ⌊it⌋, he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave. (1 Kings 19:11-13 HCSB)

March 7, 2013 approach

What if you ran onto Jesus in the parking lot? You talked a minute and from that brief ‘hi, my name is Angie’, a friendship grew. What Jesus would you come to know? Would He be the one you thought you knew? Kind, helpful, with a far-away dreamy look in His eyes? Or would He be real, like us, funny, sarcastic, confrontational, bold?
I think you would find He meets each of us where we are at the moment. But, when it all comes down, it doesn’t matter what I think. All that matters is your own personal faith and relationship with the Son.
Will you know Him in and out of the hours of today?

‘No longer will one teach his neighbor or his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me, from the least to the greatest of them” — ⌊this is⌋ the Lord’s declaration.’ (Jeremiah 31:34 HCSB)

March 6, 2013 come see

Good morning Dearheart!

Knowing the ways of the Holy Spirit is a highly one-on-one adventure. Your job and my job is not to cram change down the throat of another. It is to simply lead. Father God will do the rest. We want to jump in and do the work on our loved one for Him and that always dirties up His progress. Getting out of the way can be so stinkin’ hard, right?!

Sit down while you read this truth Friend: your job is not to save the soul of another and guilt them in to the straight and narrow. Your job is to obey the Holy Spirit.

When God called Philip, Phil didn’t go off on a tangent preaching hellfire and damnation. He didn’t lay on guilt trips of shame and self loathing. Didn’t say, ‘your hair is too long, your belly is too fat, you gamble too much, your too ordinary.’ He knew God would deal with them in their hurt places, so he simply said to the others, “Come and see.”

I just love that.

‘Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the One Moses wrote about in the Law (and so did the prophets ): Jesus the son of Joseph, from Nazareth!” “Can anything good come out of Nazareth? ” Nathanael asked him. “Come and see,” Philip answered’. (John 1:44-46 HCSB)
