In our brokenness, the Spirit moves.
Heart torn and scorned prepares for the dual –
when through the red living heart beats a whisper . . .
‘What would you have Me do to them child? What have I done for you?’
From the deep the answer rises.
Even if the embrace is not returned.
Help me let go.
Untie me from the ropes, bitter and binding Father.
Startle me with Your freedom.’
‘”Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord : though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.’ (Isaiah 1:18 ESV)
Beautiful Valentine Morn to ya Sweetheart!
A shared bloodline with our Creator, that is why we love. That bloodline, the one refused by many, is the very source of our thousands of talents that He built into you and me. Very often, those same talents get caged by the small thoughts of man-made matters. Then it becomes not only our calling, but our life’s journey to unleash them. Father God’s presence is not a wire that wraps around and binds us up, severing the unique gifts He pours in.
He is not a fence.
He is a gate.
When you walk through, others follow and are also freed in the magnitude of Holy love.
‘And may the Lord cause you to increase and overflow with love for one another and for everyone’ (1 Thessalonians 3:12 HCSB)
The unknown can be overwhelming, all-consuming.
As if all the cells inside have been moved out of order. Something is going on, yet what is happening can’t quite be named.
When we search out the Almighty, we will find Him, as He is also in pursuit of you and me. And, the encounter with Him begins a new process in us. The process goes to work on our small-minded thoughts – the ones that cripple and critique.
We are changed.
We are being changed.
Trust His ways.
‘The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, will have streams of living water flow from deep within him.” (John 7:38 HCSB)
Good morning Precious One!
Lovely One, this is for you. The spark of the Holy in you is ever in motion. Father God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, alive and active in motion, calling, “follow, follow, this way, follow”.
The Almighty provides the beckon through every inner commotion:
He stokes the campfire of hope. Warm deeply by His embers Beloved. From His spark, beauty and inspiration flame passion. He belongs there – running a wildfire through you. Welcome him in my Spirit Warrior Friend.
Welcome Him in.
‘Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”’ (Isaiah 30:21 NIV)
Most glorious Monday morning to you Dearheart,
Culture would have us ignore His Holy Spirit in us. Words and work and ways and tired routines of our days romance us to gain our attention away from His Love. His love must be born into our days by us and through us. It comes by making a special place in our lives, not just once or twice a year, but every single day. A time set aside as a daily practice of remembering to fuse with The Most High, asking Him, expecting Him to grant love into us once again, with no limits.
With no limits.
‘Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.’ (Colossians 3:12, 14 NIV)
Good morning Shimmering Soul!
There come times that we are tested, not so that we will simply overcome, but so that in the turmoil of the kink we might learn to grasp onto our faith, and know it to be real.
Layer by layer, piece by piece, the One who is your Creator gives you confidence in the tight times to rise to Him like a kite rising against the wind. Know that you know Who wins. Reach deeply there.
‘You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, … Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’ ” (2 Chronicles 20:17 NIV)
Good morning Spirit Warrior!
Take in a fresh breath of His Holy Spirit.
Let the Spirit take you to a place where you are both absorbing and living out Father God’s presence, in and of you, running through you, pouring from you.
Breathe Him in deeply. He will find the cracks. He will find the dark places where the pain and the fear and the selfish parts hide. He will melt the difference in an endlessness running through your heart, moving outward from there.
Bring Him in.
‘May my prayer be set before you like incense; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice.’ (Psalm 141:2 NIV)
Is there a small, dark piece in you that smells dry and hopeless. Untouched for too long? Ignored? A place too still to notice anymore?
Tug on that friendless place Dearheart. Knead the sad place. Make it sound out and moan. Because when we open the door to the deadish-forgotten, the Master Creator moves in as if invited with warm welcome.
Tilt your head a bit Beloved.
Open your fingers, open your fists, open your arms.
Ask the God who heals you to move on in.
‘The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them’. (Psalm 145:18, 19 NIV)
Back in the day of puppy dog ears and skinned knees just below my skirt, the lifer kitchen ladies
aka camp sponsors
aka youth rally drivers
aka Sunday School teachers
provided a certain campfire place. A place of spoken Truth. A place of unspoken Truth.
They let Father God run His Spirit through them and allowed Him to come alive in the eyes of a child’s bright, calm heart.
He showed up through their dreams,
through their spiritual muscle,
through their needle and thread,
through their play doh,
their cookies and Kool-aid,
through their exact nourishing words,
their sparkling flashes of light in Holy Alliance with our Maker.
Tell me DearOne, who may be soaking Him in through you?
‘Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.’ (2 Timothy 2:15 NIV)
The need to choose to follow or not follow Father God is imprinted on our very cells. It is a need like breathing. One means life or death to our body. The other, far more serious, brings life or death to our spirit.
A call to the Almighty for rescue sets in motion a blast through the thickest walls to a place of knowing Him from the bones outward. A place of togetherness with the Savior where we experience Him cheek to cheek, with Him and within Him.
Invite Him in.
‘Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame.’ (Song of Solomon 8:6 NIV)
