‘But Jesus came and touched them, saying, “Rise, and have no fear.” (Matthew 17:7 ESV)

Skin was an interesting selection for the shell of a human soul. What kind of creative mood was Father God in when He came up with that? There is no material quite like it. Skin. Full of receptor cells. Begging to be touched.
Who can resist touching the toes of a newborn? All lined up like kernels of corn on the cobb? Somehow, as children grow into adults touch becomes less common, more formal. We actually give classes that teach a “proper” business handshake!
But, beloved, Jesus touched. He sent healing energy into others with the slightest touch. Be mindful DearOne, of touch. Make it a priority – it seems so simple – touch heals. Notice the warmth in a handshake … the weight of shelter in a hug … the healing competition in a wresting dual … pleasure and pain, joy and sorrow, His dynamic love pours through you to the need of another. Jesus touched. Simple. Powerful.

Blessed with the crazy notion, the wild-eyed foolishness, and the madcap belief in the simple idea that I might help one to make a decision that makes a difference in the world . . . as stated by Ralph Waldo Emerson’s famous quote…“To know one life breathed easier because you lived, this is to have succeeded.” I get to use my small business background as a former owner of a Flower Shop and Hallmark Store and former co-owner of Disability Specialists, LLC, to help folks build dreams. I hold a M.Ed with emphasis on Adult Training and Education. I’d love to get my Doctorate in Educational Leadership . . . someday. My work centers on the belief that inside each of us lives a mesmerizing soul waiting to be revealed. Every day we can choose to trust the magic of our calling and take those unconventional moves to unlock an enchanted journey.
