Picture hands. Hands. God’s. Yours. Those who have held you. Taken care of you.
My dad has always been in awe of my mother’s hands. . . the way they move, the millions of lines, the way they heal. He actually prays for/thanks God for her hands at every meal. Hands!
Psalms 103 verses this week have heightened my hand-awareness. ‘All that is within me’ begins with the heart, yet is followed ever so closely by your hands Precious One.
Hands that reach. Hands that greet. Hands that touch. Hands that hold. Hands that worship. Hands that heal. Hands that sense.
Hands that reveal Christ’s loving-kindness. Notice with each reach, touch, receiving … notice hands that praise in all they move to do.
Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, (Psalm 103:1-4 NKJV)
